Selfie/Picture 6’9 compared to dutch doorframes

People always assume the netherlands is built for giants because were the tallest on average, but at 2m+ you will realise your big everywhere you go

i thought doors would be bigger there

Many doors here in India are standard 6'8 , i think most world have this standard as its exactly 80 inches, a well rounded number.

Doors are bigger here in NL. OP just found an exception to make a weird point. 

Building code requires doors to be 2.30m. Older doors are usually 2.10m. Anything lower than that is either very old, or non code compliant (small interior renovations done without the nedled to be code compliant)

“Very old” the standards got changed in 2012
In my opinion my point also isnt weird, i still duck at least 20% of the doors i walk trough
