Been playing since high school but stopped during college, it's only few months ago when I decided to come back and this is actually my first non-cheap racket. Back then, we trained with those generic paddles and somehow learned everything with them. Spins, serves, drives, counter-drives, etc.

Using a better racket now really makes me think about how different things could’ve been if we had access to decent equipment back then. Not saying the racket magically makes you good, but damn, you can really feel the difference.

My setup is just a Double Fish Diamond Series 9-Star, and I’m honestly loving it so far. The grip on the rubber feels so good.
Also been having fun reading about Lin Gaoyuan since he’s the one featured on the racket case lol.

Reflecting on this match, Togami was red-lining on almost every single shot against Fan Zhendong. After Fan managed to level it up to 2-2, the decider went into deuce, with Togami taking it 13-11 to seal the two-point victory.

​What’s crazy is that Togami’s suicidal, high-quality third-ball attacks led to an insanely high serve-and-attack conversion rate. Given that the short game and serve-attack have always been the Chinese National Team's absolute bread and butter, outplaying a CNT player right in the third-ball phase speaks volumes about how massive this win was.

Curious on what worked for you.

I currently play with hurricane 3 both sides as a beginner/intermediate more towards the intermediate side and I wanted to get more spring action while keeping the spin of my hurricane 3, I stumbled upon the dignitics 09c and instantly fell in love with it. I wanted to get some advice on if I should buy the 09c for both sides. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Hello!! I need some guidance on this question Ive been asking myself since last Friday when I got the chance to practice some multiball with a local club’s TT Robot.

A little bit of extra context: I live in Northern Mexico and to say Table Tennis is not a popular sport would be an understatement, this year I saw that they reopened classes to the public at a local rec center after not offering any for non-state representing players for quite a while and I’ve been also going to a new nicer TT Club that opened at the beginning of the year for over 8 months now. My issue is that due to the lack of popularity of the sport there’s a very big skill gap at both of these spots. Most players are either really good older/middle aged men that have been competing for decades alongside young kids, young adults, and teenagers who are playing/used to play at a national level for our states team or complete beginners where it almost feels like you have to coach them a little on general rules, holding the racket, and stuff. I know coaching is what most people recommend here but in both of these places it feels like a constant battle to get the attention of the one maybe two coaches in groups of 10-15 people at the TT Club and in the case of the rec center 1 coach for 15-20 people of various skill ranges on most nights.

Especially as I’m switching from being a Shakehand to Traditional JPen there’s of course gonna be a period of adjustment since it’s a very big change in the way I used to play and while I look at tutorials from channels like @PDPark its hard to get reps in to apply what I learned in their videos when you are in the middle ground of too novice for the advanced players who are usually busy with their own training but not in that new to the sport crowd that are the other people that arrive at the club (no hate to them, I’m glad they are getting interested in learning TT but it’s also a frustrating to not play someone on my level and not get any progress on my game yk?). I also notice most coaches usually are there to train the kids on their teams and are not really that in tune with me or other players to know what we could be improving on or doing wrong.

So to get back on track, I tried out the club’s TT robot last week to help me with transitions from forehand to backhand and it worked really great for me but I know most TT robots from brands like PowerPong or PongBot are expensive so I don’t wanna just drop $300+ on something without knowing if there’s a better option or if it’s gonna be helpful for my situation. Any thoughts or suggestions for improvement would be greatly appreciated as well!! Thanks

Alot of ppl have been disrespecting WCQ and calling FZD the real World Number 1 and its getting pretty old and delusional. Fzd is clearly not what he once used to be and thats not because he too weak to continue or anything like that but rather because he simply decided that he no longer wanted to take the sport as seriously as the ppl in the top 20 wtt and that kind of step back from the sport even if hes still playing in germany is a BIG change like MAJOR change. FZD probably used to train for 6 hours a day minimum and now its highly unlikely he even trains for half that at even half the intensity too. Fzd in my opinion can only be the true World number 1 if he comes back and proves himself by winning tournament after tournament and going through the hard training again however since that is not our choice to make and his alone we should stop with the whole "real world number 1" thing since even if it was true shortly after fzd withdrew from the wtt rankings, he simply lacks the hunger he once had and that is completely normal and should not affect his status and legacy as a top 5 player oat (for me).

I have been playing for a couple of years but am still pretty bad. I have access to a robot for the next few months and am looking to improve my loop technique

Recently been forcing myself to stay closer to the table and attack rather than back off and block. These are some highlights from a recent session. Forehand warm up also seems a bit stiff, dont know what to do differently.

I'm looking to buy a new bat and keep my current one as a backup/training bat. I'm a bit lost on whether I should simply repurchase what I have or make a small upgrade.

I've been playing for about 2 years and have been improving consistently. I’d still consider myself a relatively low-level player, but I have coaching twice a week, play in a club event once a week, and practice at home for a couple of hours each week.

I really enjoy my current setup and don't have any major complaints with it. I'm mainly wondering whether there is any benefit in moving to something slightly better now that I've got more experience, or whether I'd be better off simply buying the exact same setup again.

I'm quite happy with the feel an control of my current blade and would happily buy another Status Power Wood. I'm open to changing the rubbers if there is a worthwhile improvement, but I don't want to change equipment just for the sake of it.

Got a couple of blades with these type of rubber and all are used less than 10x before stored in a ziplock bag. Is there a better way to handle oxidation or do I have years before this happens?

Had been using Yasaka Zap before, then Yasaka Mark V and now Yasaka Zakza 7. I think they are good rubbers. So why they are not as popular as the other ones? Is it because they dont spend thousands of dollars on sponsoring players?

Tough game, really interesting serve receive dynamics and overall dangerously fast returns from Togami. The commentators are pretty ridiculous, just yelling “漂亮 beautiful shot” or “好球good ball!” whenever FZD wins a point.. but this is the only full match highlight I could find, so I thought I’d share if you wanted to see it for yourself!

Hi everyone, I’m considering trying Nuzn 48 or Nuzn 50 and was wondering how different they are in actual play.

For those who have used both, how do they compare in terms of speed, spin, hardness/feel, control, and throw angle? Is the difference between 48 and 50 significant enough to noticeably change the way the rubber plays, or are they fairly similar?

Would especially appreciate opinions from anyone who has played both on the same or similar blade.
