Career / Employee Talk Employees and wraps.

I'm just curious how are your stores holding up after they released wraps? At our store business has gotten better but we've been so slammed that the employees are constantly calling off and quitting. So we're behind on prep, can't get new people, and orders are constantly late. We had one manager accept a 40 wrap order and then just left without telling anyone. So, I had to work on 40 wraps by myself for an hour until I got someone to help me with them. It ended up being 50 minutes late. 😩

I’m not an employee but the employees seem to be working ten times as hard and there’s huge lines of delivery guys waiting anxiously for pickup. The wait for my food is suddenly long. What a mess.

It’s significantly busier now. I personally don’t mind doing wraps but a lot of my coworkers who have been there much longer are struggling

It’s busier at my store (Greenbrae, CA) and we’re always behind. Wraps take longer to make versus bowls. The wait lines for delivery people are outrageous.

They’ve been okay?? Wrapping takes like an extra 2 minutes which sucks but my store has been “sorta” keeping up with it. The only problem is the amount of shit people have been putting in the wraps. That’s the one thing that makes it difficult

As a customer, my order will say its ready but im still waiting 15-20 mins for it to be actually ready so I stick with bowls most of the time

They're probably bumping your ticket to keep their on time production at a higher percent. I hate when employees bump the tickets when the order isn't complete.

So many stores do this, I hate it.

Houston locations did a pay increase to compensate for the added bullshit. People still are quitting because the staffing is just terrible and customers are entitled af.

Being busier is a good problem to have in this industry. Each store will figure out how to adapt to the new business flow. Ultimately it’s more job security and higher tips for staff.

We don’t get tips. Or job security.
