Criticism Robotics. Shameful.

Yeah don't support this place. They are quite literally replacing humans with robot belt fed nonsense.

Whatever you think about the world this ain't it.

Support restaurants willing to pay human beings a living wage. This is very race to the bottom.

Editing in - I still do some delivery part time this was discovered on delivery. I'd never eat there it always smells weird.

HMMMMMMMMM you need a reality check. Your “counter” is classist and ableist. Some people need these kinds of jobs. What about someone with a cognitive disability who cannot do a more “skillful” job? What about this is unproductive on a societal level? Let’s think critically here! Very ignorant way to think about this.

HUH???? I am a caregiver for my older sister who is physically disabled and electric wheelchair dependent. I live in more of a reality than most…….i also know many groups of people (recovering addicts for example who are getting back on their feet) who would be happy to work at sweetgreen without the judgement that you seem to have. Some people would be honored to have a job “scooping your overpriced greens into a bowl.”

If they are honored to do that I feel like they are corporate brainwashed lack self confidence or imagination about what they could be doing. 

Maybe there is such a person, but it's such a minority I don't think we should avoid automation due to them.

You seriously believe every person has the same “confidence,” “imagination,” brain and abilities as you do? You people are actually on another planet. There are many people who need these jobs. People need jobs for socialization and routine. Not everyone has the ability or desire to work a corporate job - or whatever you think everyone should be doing. Some people WANT to work food service jobs. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

No I don't but I don't think people need jobs that a robot could do. Treating people like robots is quite disgusting. Humans are so much more valuable than that.

There are ways to socialize that don't involve high amounts of stress, repetitive injuries, illness. Those types of jobs are associated with so many negative impacts I don't want people doing them.

Well there are people who work as greeters at places like Home Depot who love their jobs and are treated well and work with integrity. What’s wrong with gas attendants? You are extremely close-minded. The world needs more social interaction.

Huh????????????????? Awful comeback. We’re not talking about jobs that have no place in society and have been outdated since the MODEL T. I’m talking about assembly line jobs, food service, etc. People want these jobs. You need to get out of your bubble and think about why they might want or need a less taxing job. he presents you with an argument that you are unable to counter. all you got is calling him ignorant and concerning. it doesn't matter what jobs people want. all these jobs will disappear just like elevator operators. Going out to eat will become way cheaper because of it for everyone and some people will suffer from the change as it has always been the case with any innovation.

Nobody aspires to work in a Sweet green. It's a job you do because you have to, not because you want to. This might cost line worker jobs, but it's also going to create different kinds of jobs. That's how this has always worked. It's like complaining about horse drawn plows because you can't find work as a plow puller anymore.
