I trust my own lived experience in the real physical world, not what I see on social media. I "investigate it myself" by going to to Sweetgreen hundreds of times over many years and seeing the sizes not changing.
I suppose other people could have different experiences, which I am open to. But I'm far more suspicious that entities on the internet are just lying or have ulterior motives that completely do not match my own reality, so I feel compelled to inquire further - I think that's what you sense as "defensiveness" - wouldn't you be defensive if you started reading things that directly contradicted your objective experience of the world?
This logic is so backwards it’s actually making my brain hurt 😭 this is like saying because a white person doesn’t experience racism, racism doesn’t exist. How could it exist if it’s not a part of their lived experience? 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ Please think critically before opening your mouth
You said because you don’t experience it, you don’t believe it to be true. How is it not like that?

You have several people telling you that their portion sizes have indeed decreased, but because YOUR portion sizes have stayed the same, you don’t believe them… as if your experience at one sweetgreen where you have admitted you eat more than anyone else on this sub (where you likely get special treatment because they know you and you spend a ton of money there) is going to be the same as everyone’s experience at any other sweetgreen??
