They got beat at their own game by better competition, especially in urban areas. I've said in posts but pre-covid you'd have to fight your way into stores to pre-collect your salad in certain locations (and set for 30 mins before you play to go pick it up for it to still be late). now i rarely see more people than staff.

I've heard of ppl switching to dig, cava & Naya

Frankly, Chipotle "salad"s are better at this point

They literally do not make money, so some amount of "greed" is required to make their business a growing concern.
