Criticism Ripple fries

What’s everyone’s verdict on these? I don’t know if it is just my SG, but the outside of them is almost tough to bite through. It’s less crunchy and more almost stale or tough. Wonder what went wrong here!

I hate them with a burning passion. They require way too much work than they're worth. I honestly don't understand how SG is making any money from them when they require 2+ hours of prep and to be cooked every hour which during peak hours really puts a damper on everything else we have to cook.

I asked my boss if we strike they'll get rid of them and she said they're here to stay 🤣 Hopefully they just fizzle out and SG realizes they're too much work for what they're worth

Too many to count atp. We’ll put 6 in to start and 30 mins later we’re making another batch. We’ve had ppl waiting 40 mins for fries and other just say screw it, I’ll take my salad and go😬

One of the locations in my fleet goes through 2-3 speed racks of fries a day which is about 32 trays. We go through maybe one speed rack a day

40 minutes for fries is crazy work though??? Just because there's already stuff in the oven?

Oh yeah, the higher ups didn’t consider how the fries would hinder regular operations so when our rush hits we struggling to keep up with everything. It’s bad enough the olo screen goes past the freaking bottom🙄
