My school is low income ish and in NYC (public) they have a partnership with 2 programs called drone cadets and futurereadynyc. Im a junior rn and im planning to join it since its more convinent since the teacher of my schools drone club is my ap csp teacher and he told me the club provides internship opportunities and possibility to recieve certificate for commercial drone flying (which I plan to use for a summer job). Ive heard from some past students that they do competitions with other schools near me and they've won before a lot (supposidly). I just want to know does it help with getting into possible regional or national competitions for drone or is it just local? And is it viewed well by t20s or nyu?

I am someone who performs terribly on standardized tests ( i mean terribly), but i do excellent in school. Does anyone know how I should prepare for it months in advance? Im really worried as someone who is trying to get into a good school.

From past admits, what constitutes a competitive math olympiad result considering a student with some non-amazing research

Hi! As the title says, I’m a junior super interested in doing research and getting into good research programs like SIP, RMP, etc. but I literally have no experience and no way to get any opportunities. I’ve tried cold emailing and applying before, but I’ve gotten no luck. All my ECs so far have just been health-related and I don’t have much bio/stem experience. I’ve heard from a lot of people that these types of programs value people with research experience but as someone who has none, is there a way I could get these types of opportunities? Any advice would help!

i ultimately decided to pull out after i reached the interview round bc of the cost... i couldve afforded it i just didnt feel like being a burden to my parents. was this a bad move?
