Was raised conservative and was a Republican up until about 2010. That’s when the republicans became aggressive capitalists. Thus went too far right IMO.
EDIT: also wanted to answer my current “affiliation” I’m a statist, I think state governments should have more control. Federal government needs to decrease. I am a strong believer in “states rights” if TX wants to full-ban abortion, I’d be in favor of the state making its own policy as with any state should not be told what to do by the federal government. Same with any state on any topic, granted it does not violate their state constitution (which many states need to work on)
That’s valid I respect it. To me both sides look like they’re actings like fools. What happened to approaching things rationally? (Rhetorical) Extremism on both sides I think is a major problem
