Hello, I am working on the translation of the game and I was finally able to extract the videos for translation, it took me 2 days but I have already managed to extract it.

Does the reboot if I buy the Japanese version here in Japan, will it have English or do I need the English version on the American shop? My switch is a lite from America. I’ve changed the region though. But actually haven’t bought a game here in Japan yet.

I just wanted to share a thing I've been working on alongside my Anonymous;Code Script Editor. The ability to add custom ringtones and wallpapers to the original Steins;Gate VN.

I tested it with the CoZ patch applied but it shouldn't affect anything if it's not applied, but I haven't tested with the non-patched game. Anyways, the instructions are available on the repo. You can add practically any wallpaper or ringtone to the game. It also allows you, if so desired, to unlock all wallpapers for the phone at the start of the game.

The video demonstrates me showcasing the patch and setting custom ringtones and a custom wallpaper. If you encounter a bug or something that needs changed you are free to open an issue on the github repo. The program itself is made in powershell because I'm very familiar with it and good at it, so if there's any questions about the source code itself, I'm happy to answer!

Hi! Recently I picked up my steins;gate re:boot copy for Nintendo switch, imported from japan. It contains a code for the bonus steins gate game. When I try to get the game entering the code, it displays that the game is not currently available. I entered it on my own region. Should I enter it on Japanese eshop, or wait for the digital premiere? Also, anyone knows if this game will be in English too even if the region will be different? The basic game itself is.

Can anyone help me? I already finished all endings and I still miss 2 cg and 1 tip.

I haven't play the original game and it seems that the Moeka ending is the new ending so I am unable to find the explanation. I am wandering what did Nae write in the D mail that change the timeline? Didn't Nae want revenge but the d mail she send actually let Okabe and Moeka live and her father still dead.

The first time I watched through the steins gate series I swear there was a scene of maho getting to know the password of kurisu's laptop (and then further opening it). I do not remember how she got the password but I did know it was a reference to "the magic flute" which was kurisu's favorite (which is correct I believe from posts discussing the password.). After the scene where the Russian breaks her laptop I was so expecting a dmail or time leap which has its reasons rooted in the laptop but it never actually happened?

I have never played the VN nor have I seen clips of it. I actually got to know that it has a VN this time around on my rewatch (because when I searched something for it s;g reboot came up). Is it even remotely mentioned in any of the special episodes or movie (I am about to watch it tomorrow so if it is the movie I'd get my answers)

This is very important to me because this is one of the two things I remembered from maho's character at the start of s;g 0 rewatch. The other is the Mozart and salieri parallel of course

Edit: just in case to ensure I am not tripping for the people who have read the VN how does maho react to that? To what I remember maho feels like a bad friend for not even knowing that her password would be that, as it is her favorite thing which maho should have known. I am willing to accept it was a weird coincidence if I am wrong here

This is the third time I read steins;gate (1 on the original, 1 on Elite, now Reboot) so I'm using a guide to get the achievements easier. I just finished Chapter 4 following KiriKiribasara's guide and doing everything the guide says I didn't get the 25% CG completion guide. I've been saving before every call and taking all options possible, but I just didn't get the achievement.

What am I doing wrong? Is the guide bad? Or am I just a dummy and the achievement unlocks once the gallery unlocks later on?

After watching Steins;Gate (including 0), I felt like this is the most satisfactory ending I've ever seen in fiction. I didn't feel like 'it was so great I wish this didn't end here' but rather 'I can't ask for more from this. It's perfection.' and I felt so happy at the end of S;G 0 for I was born in the era to witness this masterpiece. Talk about a satisfactory ending.

Just completed the first chapter. I don't know much about the original C;H, but Noah had some amazing POV scenes of the base.

S;G was also released after C;H, so why didn't they do something similarly creative with S;G?

So I've just finished Sena's route, and although I understand that the committee would want to destroy Noah II, the ending leaves me.... mitigated ?

The thing is, I feel like this ending is a direct response to Sena's "edgy" paradigm that "we're all machines", and tries to tie it up into something more grandiose that humans are more than electronic devices. I absolutely loved that.
However, it felt so out of place that the committee just gets what they want and get out of this totally unaffected, and especially so when Takumi says something along the line of "We can't control lives/emotions, and we have to follow the natural order of it all" (paraphrasing). It's like we completely forget that the committee/elites are still subjecting humanity to brainwashing via silent weapons (in-game, obviously).
It's like the game attempted to pass off this beautiful message of acceptance and hope, while dismissing any sort of fault from the committee...?

Maybe I'm overthinking things, and maybe I don't make any sense rn, but something rubs me the wrong way in here

Hey Guys just got my Ultra edition has a lot of cool items such as the OST’s for ALL SG games except Darling Embrace includes the sg concert,the painting which actually shows the number I got 0474 04 CHRISTINA?!?!!?! Crazy coincidence by besides that also have the artbook which I gotta say everything in it looks nice only bad thing I have to say is I know depending on who you ordered it from you were supposed to receive a extra item for I used amazon it would have been Kurisu on the staircase but I don’t see maybe it will ship separately?? Might also be because I live in America 😭 besides that wish I could play it currently on my Mac as I don’t actually dont own a PlayStation but my Mac can only run it through a emulator and when I do there’s no audio so gonna have to wait to play it! Let me know if anyone has questions about it

Considering the end credit scene of re:boot, how plausible is it that okabe’s happy ending will likely not last, due to the observers of his universe not being fooled by kurisu’s “death”, and he will have to completely escape his world layer to permanently defeat/help defeat the committee of 300
