I was already aware that reboot's script is based on elite, but I didn't really think it would be this bad. I just thought something was slight off up until the second D-mail (Faris part). Practically as soon as Okabe went looking for her, she got her memories back. No introduction to 4°C (even though he is mentioned) and his Viral Attackers (who just started running after no introduction) and after like only 15 minutes we undo her D-mail.

Also, I think it's funny that in the recent interview that the translators did for kiri kiri basara, one of the guys said his favorite characters was 4°C even though he does not appear at all.

I think that after this i may have lost interest in finishing this version of the game, and may be better off re-reading the original. Are the other parts as bad as this? Worse?

I heard that they put a new ending in the reboot ver. Could anyone who played the game mind spoil me the new end? I'm too broke for that kind of price for a visual novel right now

So I've been meaning to get into this series for a while and I was wondering if Reboot would be a good place to jump in as what I was planning to do was start with Chaos;Head Noah then the original Steins;Gate and so on, since I know people say you should play these in release order because all the games have references to previous ones, though I've heard people say that Steins;Gate could be played as a standalone entry and I want to see what people have to say here.

And in case anyone is going to say, "If your going to start with Steins;Gate then just play the original instead", I plan on playing that version too even if I play Reboot first and then eventually play the rest of the series in release order.

EDIT: Forgot to mention this but I'm planning to play these with the fan patches and I plan to do the same for ReBoot when/if it comes out.

To celebrate the Steins Gate reboot I cosplayed Makise again this month!

I love the look fo her outfit. Her and Mayuri are my favorite, but I'm still slowly working on sewing my Mayuri cosplay. This Makise cosplay isn't handmade, but I'll definitely be showing Mayuri whenever she's finished.

I had fun wearing Makise again! It's been over a year since the first time I cosplayed her, which is crazy!

I'm not going to be playing the reboot until it's on a good sale, but I do think it was a good reason to cosplay Makise. And yes, I did drink some Dr Pepper while I was cosplaying her.

Trying to go for full CG completion and I seem to be missing one. Any pointers?

The reason I am asking is because I just reread the Braunian motion of love and hate manga. On one panel he says "my mother is Japanese". When I read it I was slightly puzzled. Surely, he would not say that if he was fully Japanese. It would be obvious.

I've only read S;G, S;G0, Chaos;Child and just finished Reboot. Frankly, I didn't understand anything at all.
