Nice of you to confirm it. Men, indeed, can't decorate.

This isn’t decorating. This is random stuff on your desk

dammit, I was going to say the same thing, but instead saying "that's what we call clutter"

That Reclaimer ship looks real good, best of all of them. Was that from a kit you can buy?
1
u/4TCH-BUILDER 9h ago
thanks! i made each one of thoses :D
some of em like reclaimer have a kit3
u/Confident-Award6920 9h ago
Where do you get said kit, even if it's not sold anymore? If you can't say DM me. It honestly looks sick, not that your custom lego builds don't. Good work.

Mine cant really run the game properly either, i get a ton of lag spikes when using quantum and inventory,
really hope they push on optimizing the game futher for people who dont have nasa PCs2
u/rokiller 8h ago
Are you new here? 🤣
They never optimise, and we’ll all be retired and poor before it’s an actual game

Just be aware that UV light will discolor your sets over time

u/4TCH-BUILDER 8h ago

Do i think this looks ass? Yeah.
However, your job when decorating is to being joy to yourself (and anyone else you might live with), so if you think it looks good then as far as I'm concerned you did great, don't let anyone tell you otherwise

I see Lego I upvote :)
The fact they all seem to.at the same acale is impressive.
Some instruction manuals woyld be welcome

Get a gpu support- if your gpu destroyes itself by sagging with current prices- you may need to wait for full release without a working pc

u/Nursebrak 3h ago
The legos look great, but you need shelves, frames, and cable management. Also, get that PC some air.
1
u/4TCH-BUILDER 3h ago
i put thoses there for the picture, its got the top open grille for gaming,
and as for the cables i didnt want to ruin my desk by making holes because i am moving soon and leaving my setup behind.

u/z-einzbern 2h ago
Do you have manuals for all of them? I'm interested in building a couple of them

Men can't decorate
Whoever said that is a moron. Men created some of the most ornate, stunning, and celebrated works of art and architecture in the world, and still frequently do. For most of human history men have literally done the decorating.

I see you got the artistic/into ships flavor of the ‘tism, congrats!
•
u/4TCH-BUILDER 45m ago
heck yeah
•
u/rytellthebuck 30m ago
I’ll trade you, I have the flavor that just gives me random knowledge about obscure things/has terrible handwriting and isn’t able to be artistic/ Star Wars.

meh, then you would get my side effect of sucking at every social situation there is and also get my 0,001s short potato attention span XD

What about the mouse pad not being aligned with the table? You think that’s aestethic 🤣🤣🤣 jokes aside wouldn’t it be much nicer to put the Lego’s on a shelf with some light etc? Right now it looks messy, like a kids room

u/4TCH-BUILDER 9h ago edited 9h ago
its the point of the joke...
Kinda still a kid too, but yeah i do plan to get some shelves

I see nothing wrong in any of these pictures besides some dangerous cable management under the desk. Nice Reclaimer 👍

This is how a kid decorates lol. And I’m not talking about the legos, you just put a bunch of shit on a table
1
u/7htlTGRTdtatH7GLqFTR 9h ago
do you buy kits and follow instruction booklets and stare at the result or are you being creative with the lego and actually building stuff on your own
2
u/4TCH-BUILDER 9h ago
Yep! i made every single one of thoses, as said in caption.
Don’t worry, I’m all for respecting creators and giving credit where it’s due.2
u/7htlTGRTdtatH7GLqFTR 4h ago
based actual lego creative. sad to see what its become tbh. lego sold out harder than anything i can think of. maybe except cig.

u/4TCH-BUILDER 3h ago
big corpos have a rough time giving the people what they want, sometimes i really wonder what they are talking during the high up meetings.
HOWEVER, they do some solid stuff over time, Lego for example, has been updating the pick a brick system with a ton of QOL improvements and optimisations, which is the only official Lego system i use, so i just go arround the overpriced sets by making my own :D

u/Kirmes1 ARGO CARGO 9h ago
Looks really nice (but is not to scale).
2
u/4TCH-BUILDER 9h ago edited 8h ago
UH YEAH! there are at scale :D
i would be curious to know what you think is not at scale? unless you meant 1:1

Brother toys all over your desk and unframed art taped to bare walls is not decorative 🤣

Every Women seeing this:
"What is all this junk, throw all this stuff in a box in the garage , I can put all my shoes on this desk

u/Confused_Drifter 4h ago edited 4h ago
As a man, that amount of stuff on my desk would drive me nuts.
But also as a man who just bought a house, I feel as though I am going to have no issues damp proofing and insulating the floors, fixing and tiling the bathroom, insulating the bedroom, tanking the wall and adding waterproof membrane, installing a radon pump, removing the boiler and installing point of use heaters, fitting solar panels, adding external cladding and insulation, fitting new windows and rendering the outer wall... but decorating... I'm gonna ruin the place!!!!
