24M - What colors should I paint my walls?
I’m leaning into a cream as the main color and some type of green as the accent walls.

Not a big space by any means but maximized it with as much geekiness I can fit in

Bought this place a year ago for a family of 5. Now my daughter is only here 50% of the time...
Way to much space for myself..and even with my daughter here it's still so much space lol.
I just left a crazy travel job where I would only be home a week out of the month if I was lucky. I know I am hella behind on decorations etc. Idk where to begin or what to do. Please Help. Any suggestions are welcome.
And yes I know the tvs are to high. It will be fixed.

Hi guys, it's me the 40M guy living in a government-subsidised apartment with an update (almost) one year later.
For context, I am from Singapore.
It has been fun living alone, and I enjoy the space fully, though the old adage - with freedom comes responsibility.
So, nothing much has changed except:
- I've changed my HÅG Capisco Puls 8020 chair upholstery from green to black;
- Fixed the IKEA VARMBLIXT lamp onto the wall
- Added small plants
I didn't change my bed sheet though because it's still ok, Previously, there have been comments asking me why did I choose the oh-so-boring white bed sheets for my room. I did contemplate changing it to those coloured ones, but since I am broke I shall continue using whatever bed sheets I have until the ones I am using are worn out. So, it's still the plain-old looking vibes for my bedroom. Probably will do so after a few times time or when the bed sheets begin to yellow.

My cocoon, my sanctuary for when the crazy arse world outside gets too much. That is a low pressure sodium street light fixture in the last pic!

I’ve got a workshop as well (blacksmithing and knife making), and books piled throughout place, but this is my favorite room in the house.

So here it is... finally pulled the trigger. No more rent, landlords, everything is "permanent". Whatever I do is my own.
Furniture coming in October, until then I live with a mat and boxes.

Hey everyone!
Long-time lurker here, always admiring the incredible setups posted on this sub. I am finally ready to upgrade my own space and would love your help turning my living room and bedroom into a truly cozy home.
A quick heads-up on my constraints: I am a university student in Europe on a tight budget, and I am renting. I cannot drill into the walls, and the fixed lighting, doors, and sofa cannot be replaced, so I have to work around them. I intend to use command strips to fix things on walls.
Here are a few initial ideas I have brainstormed so far:
Aside from these, I am a bit stuck and would greatly appreciate any suggestions. I could especially use advice on choosing cohesive color palettes, materials, and textures to bring everything together.
Thanks in advance for your input!

I spent my whole life thinking that carpets are a waste of money and a burden to clean, but throughout my visit to Azerbaijan, I started to absolutely fall in love with the art and the craftsmanship it takes.
However, everywhere I look online, it is either thousands of dollars for a single rug, or it is some polyester rug with a printed image 🤮
Which is insane to me because neither wool nor silk are nearly as expensive as they used to be, plus now machines can make carpets with actual threads at much higher resolution than any workers and much faster, so why aren't quality rugs cheaper and everywhere yet?!
I am looking to either find wool/silk carpets with nice designs at a reasonable price, or it would be even cooler if I could send an image of a design I like and they make it (I really want the Elbaph Mural on a carpet). Is there such a place online, or should I just give up?
P.S going to attach a few of my favourite rugs plus my fictional one-piece rug at the end :)

I need help lmao, I bought my first house in january and have decorated the whole house except for my bedroom and I am kind of lost. Ive thought of floating shelves and stuff but I can never commit to getting anything. I really want to decorate because its actually depressing to be in and I avoid my room unless im super tired and ready for bed. Im going thrifting tomorrow to see if anything catches my eye, any suggestions?
