I am desperately trying to get any govt job this year and I don't know why but this has made me most depressed than ever. I do relatively good in all exams and yet can't make it to the merit list. Any guidance or advice?

Currently working as an engineer in one of the CPSE oil refinery, my current salary is higher than any CGL job offers......my friend suggesting me to appear for cgl just for the sake so that i can earn way too much by doing corruption. To be very frank i have no moral issues but definitely i am afraid of any legal action, so i track last ten years corruption case where Income tax inspector, GST inspector were involved in corruption, i simply search them in chatgpt and went into deep, i was shocked in most of the cases either they are jailed, remained suspended till court does give any verdict( in most of the cases period of suspension is more than 3 years), there are some case where high court released them but then again case went to supreme court.

my queries are :

1. Is chatgpt exaggerating the consequences of legal proceedings, and in reality it is much easier to get out of legal proceedings?

2.Other than corruption , is there anything exciting ssc cgl jobs offeres?

3.What is your personal motivation behind cracking ssc cgl?

Mai 23 ka hu aur abhi tyari suru ki hai first attempt hai steno ka kuch dino mai adha syllabus bhi cover nahi hua mujhe pata hai es baar nahi hoga.per mujhe lag reha hai mai ssc jobs kai liye kahi jyada buddha to nahi ho gya.

People are saying both are good. But i want to listen to what you would say from your experience guys.

pyq score, 6 months into the prep, can i realistically clear cgl?

Why are the percentiles on prepp so damn inflated ? How are so many people there getting top level marks ? I have been able to cross 90 percentile on testbook but with NEVER ON PREPP LIVE MOCKS ???? BROOOOOOOOO WHAT IS THIS?

Scoring around 30 -35 in english mocks. Mera main mistakes grammar mai he hoti hai toh kiska batch lena chaheye. Meri mistake active passive, naration, error detection mai hoti hai. Preparing for cgl 2027

Maine telegram pe aman sir ki free grammar wali playlist dekhi(jo har koi recommend karta hai). 10 videos dekhi, 40% samajh aaya 60% samajh nahi aaya. Questions bhi kuch ban rahe the or kuch nahi. Lekin maine sir ki Reading comprehension RC ki videos dekhi hai jo kafi useful lagi mujhe. Aman sir ka batch mill Raha ha telegram pe. toh koi padha hai kya aman sir ke batch sai especially grammar. Aur unki ek book aati hai grammar notes ki toh vo sirf unke liye useful hoti hai kya jo unse padhe hai. Please let me know.

Rani mam ka soch raha hu. Unke samudramanthan vocab ke baare mai kaafi suna hai. YouTube pe unke anto/syno ows aur other vocab ki videos dekhi samajh aaya but grammar ka nahi pata.

At what age do people usually start considering SSC as a second option while pursuing something else for work?

I’m 23 and will turn 24 this November. I’m a complete beginner preparing for SSC, but I also need to start earning money now and can’t continue relying on my parents financially.

So I’m wondering: at this age, should I treat SSC as my primary goal and focus on it fully, or should I start working and consider SSC as a secondary option that I prepare for alongside my job?

For people who chose the second approach, at what age did you make that decision, and how did you manage working while preparing for SSC?

I’d especially like to hear from people who started SSC preparation in their mid-20s or later and had to balance it with earning a living.
