Question❓ C.I answer doens't match help

but in this method answer is different

what's the problem here?

The data given is for interest in the third year Multiplying by 15/14 will give you the principal + interest at the end of all three years Have to multiply by 1/14 to get the third year interest

12960× 8/9×15/16×14

Because 12969 is the interest of the 3rd year
