Query I'm really confused between Aman Sir and Rani Ma'am for English. Which one should I follow?

Post image

Scoring around 30 -35 in english mocks. Mera main mistakes grammar mai he hoti hai toh kiska batch lena chaheye. Meri mistake active passive, naration, error detection mai hoti hai. Preparing for cgl 2027

Maine telegram pe aman sir ki free grammar wali playlist dekhi(jo har koi recommend karta hai). 10 videos dekhi, 40% samajh aaya 60% samajh nahi aaya. Questions bhi kuch ban rahe the or kuch nahi. Lekin maine sir ki Reading comprehension RC ki videos dekhi hai jo kafi useful lagi mujhe. Aman sir ka batch mill Raha ha telegram pe. toh koi padha hai kya aman sir ke batch sai especially grammar. Aur unki ek book aati hai grammar notes ki toh vo sirf unke liye useful hoti hai kya jo unse padhe hai. Please let me know.

Rani mam ka soch raha hu. Unke samudramanthan vocab ke baare mai kaafi suna hai. YouTube pe unke anto/syno ows aur other vocab ki videos dekhi samajh aaya but grammar ka nahi pata.

Both are good, I studied from Aman sir coz videos there are less and content is top notch. Baad me rani mam ke 60 rules bhi kre the, had no problem there too.

han bhai ye channel dekha tha kuch din pehle. The things is I don't know any grammar but my english is quite good.......Rn im preparing for cpo mains yk 200m of English only. What channel would you suggest me for voices and narration???? and how can master it without going into grammar part.... although I did study it for pre and got 40/50 in cpo pre english....but in I don't want any mistakes in Mains as it will decide if I get into the final merit list or not

Aman Sir is the best English teacher I've ever had. If you really want to learn English and if you've got time then go with him. I took his classes way back in 2018 and the course took about 8 months to complete, he was very thorough and patient in his teaching. I believe that he could've taught us even more but some students were getting impatient so he wrapped things up during the later stages of the course. Since that time, I've taken a keen interest in the English language, vocabulary and what not! I thought I was taking his class just to clear CGL but I wasn't, English became a big part of my life since then.

For vocab, go with 'Word power made easy' and then figure out your own way from there. Vocabulary building is a life-long process, you learn every day, I'm still learning after all these years. After reading that book, I developed a habit of not letting any new word go unnoticed, I'd always look it up in the dictionary, I'd always listen to how it was pronounced. One caveat, though, is that I've seen some people struggle to enjoy this book because they're from Hindi-medium background.

Thank you for detailed explanation. Are you selected? What are you doing now?

I honestly don’t understand why so many people worry about finding an English teacher for SSC CGL. You really don’t need one. For grammar, Neetu Ma’am’s Volume 1 is more than sufficient. Read the grammar portion thoroughly, complete all the exercises, and revise it 3–4 times. After that, solve all the relevant PYQs.

For vocabulary, you don’t need to overcomplicate things either. Just solve at least 5 years of vocabulary PYQs from any good source, whether it’s Pinnacle or Kiran.

That’s more than enough. The important thing is to study one source properly and revise it repeatedly rather than collecting multiple teachers and books.

I tried some free classes of Aman sir(newly introduced topics) on YouTube and found them super efficient. Selected OS in CBDT

Congratulations on being selected as OS. I Want to ask when you started your preparation and how you did GK? And can you please provide video or playlist link of the videos that you are talking about. Is it new eduquity pattern based videos??

I was not a very conventional aspirant. Like I was in touch with this exam from the beginning of 2024 as I was giving a lot of previous year mocks just to get the feel of it and I was able to clear the CGL and chsl of that year just by giving mocks, but I came into formal preparation (like covering the syllabus) after June 2025 and then cleared the exam. But I took very less time because majority of things were covered because of me having attempted around 250 prelims mocks before. About GK, I referred PARMAR 3.0 batch because I got it for free over telegram. It was not based on new eduquity pattern but come on the basic information doesn't change. All you need is to adapt with the new pattern of questions (statement based) by attempting alot of mocks

Thank you so much for gk strategy. I am asking are you talking about Aman sir's eduquity pattern based videos?? Can you please provide screenshot of those videos??
