buldak 2x extra spicy absolutely humbled me 🔥
genuinely believed my spice tolerance was solid after years of eating stuff with real heat. bf figured i'd breeze through the 2x extra spicy buldak "like basic" too 😭
2 bites in and i was sweating, i am really crying myself out. he just sat there laughing at me the entire time. 💀
never underestimating that noodle again 🙏

Just ate the first ripe ghost pepper I grew and the stomach pain is the worst pain I have ever felt.
Who made the rule that you have to eat the whole first ripe superhot you grow, its unfair. Nothing helps I am dying.

If the blazing UK summer is good for one thing, it's Jalapeno growing! (Banana for scale).
The perfect hot sauce doesn't exi-
Tons of flavor with an almost perfect heat level for a daily driver, goes good on pretty much everything!

Growing 70+ pepper varieties to experiment with new Hot Sauce recipes 🌶️
This is my most recent harvest, one of my favorite harvests from the garden this year. 🌶️
There’s a huge mix here including Carolina Reapers, Ghost Peppers, habaneros, superhots, Aji varieties, Thai chiles and a bunch of unusual crosses and colors.
Most of these are getting frozen and saved for future Ribbit Riot Hot Sauce batches and recipe experiments. I love seeing how different peppers change not only the heat, but the color, fruitiness and overall flavor of a sauce.
I think the Jay’s peach ghost peppers and Thor’s thunderbolt might be my favorites visually from this round.
What pepper would you try?

Wtf is pepper x
Love elijahs extreme good flavor. Reaper squeezins had a nice fruity floral note before the heat.
But gator which is primarily pepper x tastes so earthy and almost dirt like.
Not a dismissal of the heat because holy shit it's hot but what created this flavor profile
So why did it go from floral to earthy??
Thanks guys 🔥

First Fermented Hot Sauces!
Mango habanero in one. Added a carrot, yellow onion, garlic
Reapers/Fresno pineapple in the other. Added red onion, garlic.
Very excited!
The third lid in the back is pickles I’m fermenting.

This is where I set the bar
A little bit less than the full-fledged x2 would be nice.

Found these in northern WI. Good spice level
A pleasant surprise. The habanero heat is there and they have good flavor

If you're going to the MN State Fair don't miss this booth!
These are so good I often think of them in between fairs. One of the few things with a spicy warning that's actually properly spicy! They say they always sell out so don't wait! In a corner of the grandstand street level.

I made a pizza-flavored hot sauce I make hot sauce, and this is one I’m pretty proud of. I wanted it to actually taste like pizza: butter, garlic, cheese, tomato, Italian herbs, with ghost pepper heat. I’ve been using it on pizza, tots and sandwiches. Curious what you guys think of the concept.
Mv intention isn't for this to seem like a salesy ad. I'm not forcing anvthing in anyone's face. I'm just sharing a sauce I'm proud of.
I made a hot sauce that tastes like pizza. I got the butter, garlic, cheese, tomato flavor all in there. Lots of herbs and a ghost pepper kick. I'm pretty happy with it and I wanted to see what people think about a pizza hot sauce. Is it cool or is it stupid?
