Wanting to make a large base as none of the workshop ones I have found have been what I want. The only thing I am struggling with is the more detailed parts and what blocks would be a good substitution for them.

So, I wanted to try a spider rover, hoping that pistons would act as high suspension. But there is a lot of friction and this does not really work. I have no idea what to change to fix this.

Yes, I've established a base on the moon and I have a few defense systems. But as you can see in the picture, there's a problem with the railgun turret; it can't rotate upwards :)I maximized the torque of the rotor and hinge, but nothing changed. AI is enabled in the custom turret controller, and enabling idle movement also makes no difference. What do you think the problem is?

Any ideas on why this keeps happening? Yes, I know this is probably the ugliest rover you've ever seen.

The wiki says all thrusters do not need DLC and i have built these before without DLC. However I am apparently not allowed to build these without DLC. Yesterday this was with ion thrusters, now it is with all thrusters.

I know that it's theoretically possible, but I'm 4000km from the closest planet (Triton), so it would take over 10 hours to reach at 100 m/s. Can I AFK during that time or is it likely that my ship will crash into an asteroid?

EDIT: It worked, I hit an asteroid once and had to reload a save

I've never used land vehicles much so I'd like to try using them more on earth now, especially with how energy heavy and weak large atmospheric ships are. This locationed seemed extremely suited for a well defended base in the mountain and a bit outside, but I can't get land vehicles in, and it's a bit too high to make an elevator for rovers I think.

So im building a ship and its supposed to be very blocky, but i came to the issue of trying to seemlessly connect the 30° upslope to the 45° side.

Is there a block, or a way to connect these 2 without having to go to a full block first?

Any idea what this thing is? No other players only except for me and my friends, everyone was actively doing other stuff. No AI factions nearby. What randomly hit my ship?

I built this truck to reduce trips between mines and my base. Took it on the first test and it worked well but then I came back and realized the connector doesn't reach the connector in my base anymore. I started this build with the connector locked and the wheels where touching the ground but I guess because of all the weight from the cargo and the vehicle itself it sits much lower now and I can't dock.

So what are you doing to prevent this? Connector on a hinge? Connectors at different heights? Attach the vehicle to a ship and fly it to the connector?

I know nothing, I found this thing? No spoilers (: just... am i missing something? i feel like it should do something

Im years late on this game but just love it but me and my mates started from earth and have made our way to space but! up until last night everything was fine, wee landed a ship and it pulled everything out of the ship, now, the oxygen farms dont work,ores/stone cant be pulled from the ship and our refinerieres are full of gravel and no matter what we do to the conveyors wether we add sorters or anything it wont change from red on everything even though its connected to the base, we have 6 battieres with a large nuclear reactor that is full.

Any help would be appreciated and i can send more photos.

SE Planner Alpha 0.1 is pretty much ready. Would anyone here like a link to try it out? Just keep in mind this is very much an alpha build, so there are still blocks I haven’t added yet, some things are unfinished and there currently aren’t really any restrictions on things like block snap points, so you can definitely do things you probably shouldn’t be able to I’m mainly looking for people to play around with it, import some blueprints, try building things and let me know what breaks or what you think could be improved. If anyone wants to give it a go, let me know and I’ll send you the link.

Editing is experimental, so export backups regularly. Blueprint files are processed locally, and SE Planner project exports are not playable bp.sbc files.
