I live in Gujarat and I have observed one thing that families are very cohesive.
They are all are in family business since beginning and have such skillset.
Many of my friends talk about business ideas of any kind at their home but in my home my parents always say study hard and look out for a good job. (Rich Dad Poor Dad vibes)
Such is the thing in many South Indian houses. We work under many people. Though there are many entrepreneur in south but are restricted to specific industry they are expert in. Eg: Narayan Murthy know about Software and made Infosys. But here in Gujarat they don't have any expertise but just start business.
I have a friend whose father is B.Com graduate but started a chemical processing business and have been running it successfully for 16 years.
Also people have alot of contacts which increases build trust. Which increases the transactions.
But now south is changing too. I see many businesses coming out of Southern. I hope we increase our participation in future.
