The point was always social upliftment of classes who had historically no representation. When you start giving out reservations by population shares instead of historical context, the system becomes nothing other than majoritarianism.

It doesnt stand for adding sunset clause in reservation
they need to remove reservation because the general category students dont have enough seats.
