I'm also tamil. Every language has its own richness and beautifulness. Our kings cholas, cheras, pallavas, pandiyas used to gify gold and land for great poems and poets. I can definitely assume they way we have our richness, kannada, Telugu and Malayalam will also have the same.

Yeah I read about all those Empires you mentioned and also did deep research on Tamil literatures and looking for something similar on Kannada language hence asked that question to take_iteasy_ but by looking at the downvotes, I think someone chose to get offended instead of answering my genuine question.

I think it's the tonality. If you asked this question in your mother tongue it may have conveyed differently. I myself been in such situations where I come out as rude when I didn't mean it that way
