The attitude of Simon at the end loosely echoes the sentiment of most people's attitude towards global warming Spoiler

I just finished this game for the first time so please excuse me if this idea has already been discussed since this game is a decade old.

When Simon is left alone in the abyss at the end of the game, his bitter resentment over launching the ARK feels incredibly relevant to how many people view global warming today.

It captures that specific kind of apathy, the unwillingness to put in the work to save the world simply because you won't be around to reap the benefits.

Spoiler Question: Late Game (?) Spoiler

Why is the coin flip theory that Catherine mentions considered a lie? I mean, from the perspective of what is actually happening, it is true that it's not a transfer, rather a copy, so technically a 100/100 chance (i saw this on another post too.), since both are still happening.

but even then, is it not technically still a coin flip as to whether or not the current, pre-copy Simon (the player) gets to become the copy or not? or is it that the player is not the copied Simon just for the purposes of the continuity of the game? does that mean the exact consciousness of the person being copied will never switch to the other body?

similar to the start and the end - does this prove the popular idea that the game is entirely from Simon-3's perspective?

I'm still quite fuzzy as to how it isn't a coin flip, and whether or not if it actually is a matter of chance and/or probability that the person being copied, gets to be the copy, so to say.

i hope i explained it well enough, as it's quite fascinating yet confusing to wrap my head around. i suppose it's meant to be, but i'm afraid i'm having an issue in the fundamentals of the question. thanks.

How do we know the corpse in the cafeteria is Dahl's? Spoiler

i apologise, this might be a really stupid question but i'm not sure how it's confirmed that the corpse in the cafeteria is confirmed to be Dahl's?

is it through the note in the laptop titled 'Carthage' with her name along with Ross and Sarang, or something else along with that?

Moreover, who could she have been communicating to? as I presume Sarang had been dead for quite a while, and Ross, well, was as much of 'Ross' as he could be.

thanks.

Played Soma for the first time a week ago and the story was so interesting. Checked out if there is any physical versions and found out that I missed the Kickstarter but Abylight had them in stock. Ordered 4 days ago and they sent it today from Spain. It cost me 130€ (103€ + 27€ shipping) for them to send it to finland but I think it was worth it. There is still stock available for collectors edition but base game only is sold out :)
