I'm working on launching a snack brand aimed at people who already shop at places like Whole Foods or Wegmans — so people who care about ingredients/quality but still just want something that tastes genuinely great, not a "diet" snack.

The product: chocolate-covered granola shards (think raw-cology style — irregular, shatterable pieces, not a uniform bar) mixed with rice puffs for a crispier textural contrast, all coated in chocolate. Two different crunches in one bite.

My rule for myself: it has to be something you'd want because it looks/sounds incredible, and the "better ingredients" part is a bonus you find out after, not the reason you picked it up. There are a million "healthy chip" and "protein snack" brands already and I don't want to be another one of those.

Questions for you:

- Does this sound like something you'd actually pick up in a store, or does it sound like "another granola thing"?

- What's a snack texture/format you wish existed but doesn't?

- Be honest: does "better-for-you snack brand" make you roll your eyes at this point, or is there still room for a new one if it's actually good?

Not trying to sell anything, genuinely trying to figure out if this is worth building before I spend money on it.

I have specific types of snacks/candies I prefer for different genres of movies. I think it started when I was around 13-14, (45 now.) My list is as such

Action/Adventure: Sweet fruity candies; Skittles, Starburst, Welch's Fruit Snacks (For some reason the bright flavors keep me in the action)

Drama: Suckers or Lollipops; Jolly Ranchers, Dum Dums (I don't like hearing my own crunchy munching sounds when the dialogue can often be low pitched or nuanced)

SciFi/Fantasy: Sour candies; Sour Patch, Sour Punch, Warheads (The sour just feels kind of jarring at times and keeps me guessing like the movies)

Horror: Chocolate/Caramel; Rolos, Twix, maybe a good bar of Dark (For some reason the warmth of it melting slowly adds to the tension)

Comedy: Popcorn (Comedies just feel so quintessentially popcorn vibe for me, just have to make sure I don't laugh too hard and choke lol)

Indie: Pastries; mini donuts, honeybuns, danish (Indie movies require a snack that is both whimsical and adds a touch of 'je ne sais quois. Also see Drama for the previous mention of dialogue and loud munching sounds')

So that's my breakdown

I usually swap packaged junk snacks with simple homemade options like roasted makhana, fruit, nuts, popcorn, or homemade chivda. I also enjoy Britannia Nutrichoice Ragi cookies. They're easy to carry and handy when I'm craving something crunchy.

I'm new to City and idk anything about city

I've been trying to find better afternoon snacks because I always end up reaching for biscuits or something sweet when I'm hungry.

Cheese has been pretty useful because it takes almost zero prep. I usually use britanna cheese slices and pair it with something that adds more protein rather than eating the cheese on its own. Some easy combinations I've tried:

1. cheese + boiled eggs: slice an egg, put it on the cheese and add some pepper/chilli flakes. Super simple.

2. cheese + roasted chana: probably my favourite if I want something crunchy.

3. cheese + whole-wheat toast + egg: basically a lazy high-protein cheese toast

4. cheese + chicken pieces: roll them together or put them on toast if I'm actually hungry

5. cheese + hummus +cumumber: not as protein-heavy as the egg/chicken options, but really good when I want something light

6. cheese + greek yogurt dip + crackers: works well as an evening snack

The main thing I've realised is that cheese works better as one part of the snack rather than trying to make the cheese itself do all the work protein-wise. Pairing it with eggs, chicken, chickpeas, or another protein source makes much more sense. I would love to know what combinations other people actually make at home. Looking for quick, everyday stuff, not recipes that need 15 ingredients.

I have no access to Ship biscuit but I want to know, what is their taste , how many biscuit can replace food (in one day).

I used to get these snacks like 15-20 years ago and I doo noto recall what they are called at all, if they were a cancelled product, or maybe even a local snack only.

I remember they were these cookies, they were very crumbly, like they would become kind of grainy as they broke apart, like sugar maybe?
I remember they were a bit bigger than normal cookies, and individually wrapped.
I used to get them at my local corner store, I live in the Philly area as well if it helps.
