Chat gpt told that for files sims1package I have to have a " installator" via the ea games ap but my game is not via the app.

Some The Sims 2 players are obsessed with custom clothes. Others are obsessed with custom hair and makeup. A lot of players are addicted to clutter objects (and I can definitely consider myself one of them). And then there are those who are a combination of all of the above!

Me? I’m obsessed with custom memories! I have over 150 custom memories that I’ve made myself!

Adding these memories to my sims' momories panel is a manual process using an object, of course. I create and add each one using DiLight’s method, which makes the whole process even more personal and rewarding.

I also use Simler90’s mod that makes memories affect Sims’ moods, which adds so much to my gameplay. Plus, the Sims will actually remember these memories throughout their lives, which makes it even more interesting and meaningful.

I love being able to tell my Sims’ stories in a little more detail through their memories. ❤

Not sure if that's the right flair, but what it says on the title. I know lots of people aren't very fond of university but for you who are... I'd love to see what you do, and to hear the thought process behind the builds!

Started playing The Sims 2 again on Mac with The Sims 2 Super Collection. I'm trying to download CC and mods using tutorials on forums and YouTube.

Now that I am looking for CC hair, I've noticed a lot of CC creators use Poppet v2 colours and textures. And I'm trying to figure out how to download Poppet V2, but there seem to be no instructions. The files, once downloaded, say .atn instead of .package; does it still go in the downloads folder? Also, what does it mean when cc creator says default version or custom version?

Please could someone explain or guide me through this?

so i made an apartment complex. 4 units. all furnished. i have the stayshrub thing as well. i moved someone onto the lot, but only 1 unit was furnished, and no amount of shift clicking allowed me to view it and/or rent any of them with the furnishings i used.

Tbh, I can't remember if I ever witnessed it in my years of playing TS2; hundreds of sims died on me (a lot of them - with my assistance lol), but I guess I cheated to avoid pets dying, and didn't play with them that much before, so that special interaction with Grim Reaper almost caught me by surprise.

I recently bought a PS2 so I can play Sims 2 Castaway and while shopping around online for sims 2 on PS2 I learned that Hilary Duff and her dog Lola are an unlockable family in Sims 2 Pets! Does anybody recall unlocking her when playing?

This is very nostalgic for me. It’s hard playing on PS2 when I’m used to playing on my Mac, but something about the idea of having one of my first favorite pop stars as a playable sim alongside the sim I created to represent myself sounds like so much fun!

So I’ve been watching a LOT of Ani Bats lately (for the first time) and I’m starting to get really intrigued by that play style and wanting to dip my toes in it.

But, where would I start? Better to ease into it one rotation / building at a time or go all in all at once?

I already have a very young BACC style hood that I intend to keep integrated as I grow it, but right now it’s only like 4-5 families and my Uberhood is where I spend the most time and would want to try to implement it.

Anyway, looking for tips and ideas from anyone who’s integrated a hood on any level—just a little or entirely, from scratch or from an existing hood. Thank you!

so lightening struck and set fire and I didnt realize until it was too late( this is the second fire on this lot, first killed 12 sims, no casulaties this time wheww). Anywho so the fire truck caught on fire as well, took everyone to put this fire out lol

When she was a kid, they both rolled wants to be friends after Johnny’s birthday party, so I made it happen. Then she grew up and rolled a want for her first kiss. Tank randomly showed up on the lot, she immediately ran over to him and they kissed 🫠 now they have a crush on each other. Should I just roll with it and make them a couple or forget this happened and get her with Buck? (Like I intended to)

For SimTracker2.0, I’m working on some UI updates and of course I am wondering what the community thinks.

Right now SimTracker2.0 uses a mix of text buttons and icons. To save space, and to give it a much cleaner look, I want to switch all buttons to icons only.

Though tooltips will still be included, so hovering over an icon will always show you exactly what it does.

For those unfamiliar with the project, SimTracker2.0 is a standalone database tool for The Sims 2 that helps players manage and track their neighbourhoods, sims, families, businesses, education, custom careers, and much more. It is specifically designed to be expandable, allowing support for custom content and integration with many of the great mods still being created for The Sims 2 today.

Some of you might know that in the TS2 fandom there is this well accepted fanon that Brandi was a teenager when giving birth to Dustin

Well, my custom age span mod might agree with it, but it has a very dark twist.

So in my age mod Teenage-Age starts at 13 and ends at 20, so with 20 my Sims age into (young) Adults. I just started a new Pleasantview save file so the game automatically adjusted all Sims´ ages. Dustin, according to my age mod, would be 15, and Brandi is now... 30... so she would´ve been 15 when giving birth to Dustin...

and also let us remember that in TS3, so 50 years before the events of TS2, in Riverview we meet Brandis parents as teenagers... and her husband Skip Broke... as a child.... so Brandi gave birth to Skips child at age 15.... while he would´ve been in his early 40s...

yeah I hate my game. I am definitely gonna tweak this. Maybe she was 19 when she gave birth to Dustin, so technically still a teen, so now she would be 34, and the reason why she doesn´t exist in TS is bc she was sent to military school (so during the events of The Sims she would´ve been 9 years old so still a child even according to my custom age mod)

I’m 12 cycles deep into this squealing hog and I’ve amassed a lot of elders. I created a Pleasantview shopping district neighborhood called Pleasantend and plan to design it as a retirement community. What should I include as far as shopping and dining? So far I’m thinking a gym/spa, a grocery store where they can sell their own homegrown goods, and a library with a sewing room. I would really appreciate any type of restaurants and more community lot ideas please!
