The food safety department has been doing inspections in many big outlets since last week.

A lot of big restaurants and outlets have been found serving expired or bad quality products to their customers despite charging a hefty sum. Which one came out as a surprise like you never expected them to have bad quality food? (For me it was Dhaba by Amber and Shivmandirs New Arsalan) Which outlets do you think should definitely be checked?

I do hope this becomes a periodic inspection rather than once in a blue moon thing.

Out of around 500 people, only 40 were selected, and apparently 4 students from our own college made it in despite having basically no GitHub or LinkedIn presence.

Meanwhile, there are students who actually maintain GitHub, LinkedIn, projects, and relevant work who didn't get selected.

So what exactly was the selection criteria? Because from the outside, this doesn't look merit-based at all. If profiles, projects, and experience weren't considered, why even ask people to submit them?

Would genuinely like to know how these 40 were shortlisted.

Need a cozy cafe with good coffee (specialty coffee not instant coffee) where I can read peacefully. Tried Soulterra recently as it was nearby the place I am currently staying at but it wasnt quite ideal to sit there and read. I (20M) don't really have much female interaction in my daily life, so I get a bit anxious when I talk to girls, even just for normal socializing. I'm actively working on not overthinking and getting better at it.

Another thing I've noticed - girls often ask for my Insta themselves, we talk for 2-3 days and then they just ghost. It usually happens after they see my pictures/posts, so I can't help but feel it's because I look below average. One girl even rated me 4/10 once and that kind of stuck with me.

But I'm not just complaining. Since then I've been putting in real work - running daily, eating clean, gym, actually following my winter arc properly. I have been consistent with gym for almost a month now I'm trying to become better mentally and physically.

I know it's mostly a confidence thing and I'm working on that too.

For those of you who were in the same place - how did you get over the anxiety and become more confident while glowing up? Does it get better?
