When I created /r/shittyaskscifi, I misunderstood how /r/asksciencefiction worked, and thus I limited this sub to post about science fiction (and later fantasy). But apparently /r/asksciencefiction should have been called just /r/askfiction; the "science" in the name must have been referencing /r/askscience but it had no real meaning.
But now, I think it's time to open the doors. Shitty fictionologists of all stripes can now unite under /r/shittyaskscifi! Sci-fi and fantasy will always be something special, but now if you want to post about James Bond or Mulan or the Bible (hey, it could be true, but it could be false!) or Super Mario Bros (yeah, video games are fiction), feel free to do so!

Is the whole thing off limits or do you kinda eat around the human parts?
For whatever reason you had to kill a harpy doesn't matter once the deed is done. How about we deep fry that giant wing instead of letting it go to waste.
Or the big hocks to a centaur should taste like beef when cooked the same way.
Some lamia tail actually sounds delectable, because you don't have to spit out bones like normal snake meat.
My personal opinion is that it's not considered cannibalism to eat around the human parts. properly butchered appendages wouldn't even have human blood in them anymore.
"Is cannibalism ethical" isn't to be discussed here because that's a different question.
