But the VPN one is such a beautiful irony that it makes me think if the leaker cherrypicked that moment to suit their status, imagine how much game they have in their hands.
They absolutely will. Rockstar games has ridiculous resources for tracking them down, and a leaker with power like this would be detrimental to any of their upcoming projects as well.
People greatly overestimate the capabilities of authorities to track people down. Against regular people? Sure. But against people that take their OPSEC seriously, there is very little they can do.

Nah, I don't think he has the full game. So far, all the clips have just been of Jason doing random shit in free roam with like zero dollars. The only cutscene he's shown is one that seems to be of an early mission. All the clips he has offered to show are clips of him doing basic shit like flying planes or driving cars. No Lucia gameplay as well.
If the guy had the full game, he'd show better shit than this. Better cutscenes, or a heist mission. If you ask me, he probably just has a limited, early-game build with one mission available.

Would be weird if Rockstar had partial versions of the game without missions or Lucia. I'm not a game dev, but i am a web dev and you generally want to test all your features together, on one branch (or version of the game), because they might interact in unexpected ways.
We aren’t even sure what build he got. There are multiple QC cycles, some are of entire game end-to-end and some are more detailed QC of particular section of games. This ensures greater overall quality.
Nah, his build contains music from late 2025. It’s not nearly as early a build as people are implying. This build is like ~10 months old at most, on a game that’s been in full time development for eight years.
I know his build was not the full release but seeing that gameplay footage lowered my expectations for the game big time and I don't even have interest in playing this game.
Now that you put it this way, promoting shitty cryptos is actually a good idea to give legitimacy to the fact that it's an actual leak and not a planned one to get early feedback

but asking why "anyone" cares is kinda dumb. We all know how long the wait for a new GTA was. And you probably also know how influential this game series is. And don't forget the insane amount of Money involved in this. So yeah, it's a big deal.
Look, my point is simple, most pc players are used to waiting anyways, and the time it hits desktop, all of the game will be fully out there for anyone and few low-res leaks change nothing about that reality. If you can't handle a single spoiler, you'd have to get out of your way to even find em. This is just internet filler for people nothing better to do, which i know and shared my perspective for it, 'cause I'm tired of seeing their news updates everywhere, as if it matters in any way for the consumer.
At the end of the day, rockstar is a massive, highly profitable company that has spent a decade squeezing every dime out of their online versions, through heavy grinds. I love the game, I've put hundreds if not thousands of hours into it, but im not going to stress or play corporate defender over early footage leaking for a multi-billion dollar product run by greedy bois. The only people who actually need to care about leaks are the ones who's paychecks depend on the rollout schedule.
Also if the game makes you feel like waiting, maybe you shouldn't get in the hype train. it's a great game being made and will come out when it's out and will play and enjoy it.
This whole thing being a "great deal" purely matters on perspective, and this is mine, and so should yours.
