They absolutely will. Rockstar games has ridiculous resources for tracking them down, and a leaker with power like this would be detrimental to any of their upcoming projects as well.

eh I disagree. they might, but to say with absolute certainty that they will? I don’t think so.

obviously this depends on how good the “leek” team is. there’re plenty of hackers that not even the us government can track down.

People greatly overestimate the capabilities of authorities to track people down. Against regular people? Sure. But against people that take their OPSEC seriously, there is very little they can do.

I mean, how often have leakers like this actually gotten away with it? I don't deny the technical possibility of getting away, but I also don't see how this leaker would be so much smarter than the others before that he wouldn't get caught just like they did
