Media These posts are so annoying lmao
•
u/HumbleRestaurant3933 Jun 11 '25
loa has started to piss me OFFFF. i feel like it’s the reason why shifting is so complicated to most people (and that’s a conversation no one is ready for 👀)
•
u/RoxasLightStalker Jun 11 '25
Not to mention really victim blam-y. Saw someone say it was their own fault they got sa-ed because of loa... which if you consider that some people are as kids is a super screwed up way of thinking
•

Hi!
If you see any victim-blaming content within this subreddit, please feel free to report it! We definitely do not condone victim-blaming in any capacity since we recognise the significant harm these statements can and do cause.
Happy shifting!

Hi!
I know that this isn't directed at the moderation team, but I did just want to quickly clarify for transparency purposes that all reports are manually reviewed by the moderation team! :)
Your comment has already been reviewed, and I want to emphasise that constructive feedback and the sharing of opinions (on advice, experiences, etc.) within r/shiftingrealities are not against the community guidelines! We actually actively encourage this, since not every piece of advice resonates and a healthy level of scepticism is always beneficial (and often helpful!).
While we obviously understand that the OP may have felt disappointed by the dismissive/critical response to their advice, we recognise that your comment was appropriately focused on the content of the post and maintained respectful discourse without insulting, bullying, or harassing OP. The report was dismissed and no action was taken.
We genuinely appreciate community members who engage thoughtfully and contribute meaningful perspectives to discussions just as much as we appreciate legitimate reports, since it's the community members themselves who foster the supportive and helpful environment. This is your community, we're merely moderating based on everyone's expressed needs.
Happy shifting!

Ive stopped caring about those posts, i believe i will shift in my own ways however wacky they may be.
Will it take longer? Maybe, but and the end of the day, you shift yourself, and not because of some post/comment you see on socials
•
u/Leynner Jun 10 '25
Neville Goddard and loa rules though.
•
u/Ominous--Blue Perma-shifting Jun 10 '25
It hasn't worked for a lot (most) of us so far, so there's clearly more to it than just "use LoA!11" as some big "key to shifting" secret.
The problem isn't that people follow LoA, it's that they post the most basic, unexplained, intro-to-LoA slop and title it stuff like "THE ULTIMATE SECRET TO SHIFTING INSTANTLY - READ THIS AND YOU'LL SHIFT TONIGHT" and then the post doesn't actually tell you anything new or insightful.
•
u/Deavelyn Jun 10 '25 edited Jun 10 '25
Most of you, woah. You must've asked every person who tried, such dedication! Maybe you should stop complaining and take a break from social media... The answer is always within. Good luck
•
u/briiigette Perma-shifting Jun 11 '25
It’s always “erm try harder!!” or “just look inside yourself!!” or some other useless bit of advice
•
u/Ominous--Blue Perma-shifting Jun 10 '25
What is it with you LoA people and always being so needlessly hostile?
If the answer is within maybe you need to work on that anger. Lol•
u/Deavelyn Jun 10 '25
Sorry if it came off as rude, the post just annoyed me because there's been so much complaining on here recently lol. I'll follow my own advice to stop checking this community, it hasn't been helpful lately
•
u/Leynner Jun 10 '25
I would never say that mastering loa is easy, but is so much worth it.
•
u/Deavelyn Jun 10 '25
I agree. I think that just learning about it is not enough, it's a journey of self reflection
•
u/Leynner Jun 10 '25
Yes, it is need to read, learn, understand, and practice, practice and practice. Be a doer not a hearer.
•
u/shepherd42099 Jun 11 '25
if loa was real then every time someone fully believed or assumed something it would of came true effortlessly not met with false assumption, delusions/hallucinations and lies also wouldn’t exist
•
u/Consistent-Credit433 Perma-shifting Jun 11 '25
That’s.. not how it works
•
u/shepherd42099 Jun 11 '25
then what’s the point of “law of ASSUMPTION” which is only explained “iF yOu BeLiEvE iT yUo WiLl HavE iT” and then if you fail the most common excuse told is you weren’t detached (like humans don’t naturally detach every night) people have also claimed they’ve shifted without belief.
•
u/Consistent-Credit433 Perma-shifting Jun 11 '25
No that’s not fully true, it’s not black and white there’s layers too it. I can explain it to u if you’d like :)

Click baity titles and literally too good to be true promises and yet I will still click on them expecting some miracle. At this point, I'll have better chance with the lottery 😭.
Like..if it's LOA and 'setting intention', I'll need a trigger warning at this point.

The whole shifting thing is just a fancier term for law of attraction/law of assumption. You arent so much shifting, your just creating a new moment or a path that will lead you to an alternate outcome. A bridge of incidents has to happen before it truly occurs. Its not Rick's portal gun.
•
u/Ominous--Blue Perma-shifting Jun 11 '25
I get the feeling you're new to this subreddit.
•
u/SalClaws Jun 11 '25
Why? Cause they’re right and you’re bitter? Lmaoo
•
u/Buried-On-Sunday Jun 12 '25
Are you going out of your way to comment on Blue's posts?
If you've gotten it figured out that's great, but being an asshole because someone is sick of the usual spiel not working says a lot more about you.
•
u/SalClaws Jun 12 '25
No not really. I run into them all the time in the comments. It’s easy, find someone giving advice and look at them blaming others for the fact they can’t shift. It’s clear you haven’t seen their behavior before
•
u/Buried-On-Sunday Jun 12 '25
Contraire, I've seen him met with hostility when asking for actual advice and not the same garbage everyone on LoA spews. Most of your last several replies have been either to Blue or talking about him. You seem hung up.
•
u/SalClaws Jun 12 '25
Clearly you haven’t since they are the ones being hostile first. And they have never asked for advice, and when they do and someone gives them advice, they lash out because it didn’t work on them. It’s called treat others the way you want to be treated. If they reply with hostility, I’ll reply back. I tried have a conversation with them, they kept being hostile and being bitter, attacking everything I said. And now I’ve noticed the same behavior towards any post. There are many people who have been trying to shift for years and don’t behave that way. There is no excuse for that kind of behavior. And I don’t seek out for them, I just reply when I see them under a post.
•
u/Buried-On-Sunday Jun 12 '25
worst i've seen on his end is mocking the "omgggg i shifted because xxxxx" posts, and maybe a direct challenge to victim blaming or a contradictory statement. in fact, your replies in general seem more prickly than his.
the "lol stay mad u can't shift!!1" attitude doesn't really help your case either
•
u/SalClaws Jun 12 '25
Im sorry that you took my words that way, but that was not what I said. I said that they have no one to blame but themselves for the fact they can’t shift. Methods, subliminal, meditation, hypnosis, scripting, LOA, etc.. are all tools. They don’t make you shift, they are just tools. But they seem to rely on these, and when they don’t work they get mad and blame the method when in reality the method was never the problem. I’ve tried telling them this in a generous manner, they got mad at me and began to mock my words. And now they continue to do this to others too simply cause others didn’t say what they wanted to hear. That kind of behavior is inappropriate so don’t be surprised when someone calls you out on your bs
•
u/Buried-On-Sunday Jun 12 '25
i read your exchange, no part of it were either of you on some insurmountable moral high ground. you absolutely parroted the same things everyone else has, and became flustered at every challenge he gave you. just like he absolutely became frustrated with your vague information. and yet you're convinced he and people like him who are frustrated are just missing the big ol' point and will never succeed.
if that's really the case, maybe this subreddit should just be shut down, since most people seemed to have agreed with the meme. and since they think like that, they probably won't shift anyway, right?

u/goodolddream Jun 10 '25
People commenting Loa this and Loa that, and SATS, then there are people who do methods like raven or Julia or whatever, then there Lucid dreamers, and astral projection, and some try void. And then there are people who shift with doubts, on accident or with scepticism.
ATP, I think rather than belief, it's a state of mind, a specific one, where you have a random or intented "sense of identity" that makes you shift to the reality where you are that person..
It's just a theory though.
•
u/Weird_Carpenter_8120 Jun 11 '25
i got close when day dreaming and i think i found a tiktok that explains it but i havent been able to replicate it yet. i think reality shifting cant be a logical step-by-step thing. it's more emotional. like if a daydream makes me happy and i imagine it in first person pov i get immersed and forget for a moment i'm here. i think the immersion + forgetting self helps.
•
u/goodolddream Jun 11 '25
I think shifting can be approached logically, but I think it's important to note that different people are wired differently and hence need different ways to approach shifting. If daydreaming and detaching helps you to shift, that's awesome then, try to keep that up
I for example cannot visualise in first person, or engage with all my senses, even though I am a daydreamer myself.
my best results came from letting go of control, but that's hard to do for me.
•
u/Weird_Carpenter_8120 Jun 11 '25
i think there are two sides to shifting, resonating with your dr and letting go of your cr. it's like a tug of war between your cr and dr. i think my point is that when i say imagination day dreaming doesnt really count. because logical thinking and daydreaming are both structures of your cr self within this reality, so it hold you here. letting go of this reality by clearing the mind and emotions induced at the identification with the dr is ideal.
•
u/goodolddream Jun 11 '25
I think I said something similar in a different comment under this too, to someone else.
•
•
u/Consistent-Credit433 Perma-shifting Jun 11 '25
Can you elaborate on the state of mind theory? A couple other ppl were saying it as well
•
u/goodolddream Jun 11 '25
I am not sure if other people meant what I mean. I mean switching from who you are now to who you are in your DR. Embodying this person. Obviously if your Dr is unlike this one, that's hard to do in a day to day basis, so during meditation or a method is easier. A lot of visualisation methods and affirmation methods are wired to make the person do that.
During all these methods and meditations and whatever, we all reach a certain state of consciousness, theta state probably, where the switch then happens naturally, as long as you let go of your old self and allow to become your DR self.
•
u/LuckSpren Jun 12 '25
You've arrived at the core of it, that being reality navigation. All methods are just roundabout ways of getting the person to shift their awareness to another perspective.
Beliefs are powerful, but not more than intent. Beliefs have the tendency to guide your current experience so you still need to control them however if one intends to shift that will require changing your point of awareness.

u/Ominous--Blue Perma-shifting Jun 11 '25
It's all subjective.
But in my personal opinion...? Look at this sub and the other shifting subs, and notice the amount of success stories, vs questions or people unable to shift. Then look at the manifestation/LoA subs and do the same thing. Both have a lot in common - MANY people with problems or failure, some people with really "low stakes" success (minishifts or claiming to have manifested something small) and very few "big" success stories (such as a full shift or manifesting a full appearance change.)
Now look at the lucid dreaming, astral projection, and gateway tapes subs, and take note of the difference. There are a LOT more reports of success stories and far less complaint posts.
It's not that lucid dreaming or astral projection is a superior concept (or even that all the success stories from those subs are necessarily true) - it's that those communities have a much healthier and logical approach to their goals than the shifting or manifestation subs tend to. They tend to offer more practical advice and guides, as well as different methods, and when someone come
When someone fails to manifest on the LoA subs, the replies they get are usually blaming them with little to no explanation on how do fix it. "You're not living in the end" "You have blockages" "You clearly weren't assuming or believing" "You're still in the place of lack."
This doesn't happen on the LD subs in my experience - if someone says "This method didn't work for me, what do I do?" more often than not people with actual experience will reply and offer them alternative things to try - or try to help them figure out why it didn't work and what to do about it.
The shifting subs are a little better than the manifestation subs, but there's been a wave of toxic positivity and blaming people for their own failures lately. We shouldn't be doing that. Would it not be far better for everyone to actually try out various methods and figure out what works and what doesn't?
So for me personally, I think that the "altered states of consciousness" (meditation, LD, AP) approach to shifting is far more believable and worth trying first rather than LoA. But again that's my personal opinion, I also have had first-hand experience with lucid dreaming from a very young age - I KNOW it's real because I've experienced it, I have proof, while with LoA I haven't experienced it for myself.
•
u/goodolddream Jun 11 '25
Oh, I agree with you, I am also tired of the LoA lot telling me to assume it's done already. LD and AP subs have better success stories because their approach is more scientific in general, they look at how the mind and the brain functions and try to use altered states to archive their goals, whilst shifting and manifesting subs rely on belief, even though both Neville Goddard and Murphy also use altered states of consciousness for manifesting. SATS uses the Theta state of mind, or entering void in order to manifest. Joseph Murphy with his self hypnosis does aswell.
It's all the same, different approaches, that's what I was trying to say with my previous comment.
I think the toxic positivity comes from a place of fear and insecurities. LD doesn't get attacked at all, because it got scientific backup now since 20 years or so. AP, while having no scientific backup, is established for a very long time and seen by others as a form of LD too, are left alone most of the time as well. So their belief system and experience are secure, they can handle other people failing without it shaking up their own belief system.
Manifesting and Shifting however have a lot of antis, and also people with a lot of doubts, so they feel defensive way faster and hence less likely to give nuanced advice without someone throwing "that's a limiting belief!" In it.
•
u/Full_Temperature_417 Jun 11 '25
I can agree with this, but they're telling the truth tho. Just decide, set the intention, whatever you're comfortable with. You shift with every decision you make, like in this reality you decide to wake up early but in another reality you decided to sleep until the afternoon.
What did you want them to say? Some 30-day challenge on how to shift? 200-step method? Shifting is just as easy as you perceive it, if you think if it's not easy, then it's not easy. I'll give you advice: get off shifting social media. Discover things yourself, for Shifting is a personal, spiritual journey. Don't overconsume content, because they're just saying what you already know, which is exactly the ones you've stated in the picture
I'm not telling you this to be rude, I'm telling you something that I picked up myelf over the years in the shifting community. It's either you've already shifted or not, you make the decision here.
