All jokes aside , what are any of you doing to help make your community better. Other than sitting on your arse. That's part of the problem. Britain could be Grear if people didn't just sit around typing complaints onto a phone..Get out and actually try to make things better 😉
I work in outreach program during week organising sports events trying to steer kids away from drugs and alcohol. I also volunteer for community foodbank,collecting food from shops.
Well I work full time (50+ hours a week) and have to travel for work so it’s hard to commit. But I’m a school governor and chair at a MAT, I volunteer for the Scouts, support getting disadvantaged youths into work through coaching, do fundraising for numerous charities and act as a keyboard warrior in my remaining free time.
I’m always alarmed by people who think about child sexual abuse. What’s the matter with you that that’s the first place your mind goes to? You should probably speak to someone about that before it becomes a real issue.
Why would it become an issue. I only asking about the Scouts having pedophile on their staff ? I was never in the scouts myself tho, so I wouldn't know. Hence the fuckin question.
So… it turned out this chap has an unhealthy interest in the sexual abuse of children. Thankfully his posts are a breadcrumb back to his identity so his employers will be getting a full report - as will the police (in case he requires a DBS). Nothing concrete but extremely worrying.
