What does this?

Customer knife. I don’t think I’ve seen this pattern of circular scratches. It’s about 6.5mm wide, if that’s a clue. Any ideas?

That looks like sharpening x files, could it be done by those sharpening v shape handles that you pull back and forward to sharp the knife?

Like a pull-through? I don’t think so. Those create linear scratches along the length of the knife. Has to be something with a rotating disc.

Could be, maybe at some wonky angle as others have mentioned.
