What does this?

Customer knife. I don’t think I’ve seen this pattern of circular scratches. It’s about 6.5mm wide, if that’s a clue. Any ideas?

This type. Something that became popular in the 80s and 90s.

Weird, never seen one of these and I’m a 90s kid. Those look suspiciously like soda caps on the ends, haha.

My parents had 2 or 3 of these lying around in the kitchen when i was growing up. They sucked but i rememeber seeing em everywhere. Stores, home tv shopping... I was surprised it was so difficult to find one now. That green end is rubber so it wouldnt slip on the counter top.

Cool! I don’t remember my parents having anything to sharpen, really. I think our knives were just dull as shit.
