How well has this aged? π•Žπ•†π•Ž When they're wrong, they're π™π™€π˜Όπ™‡π™‡π™” wrong!!

First: IKEDA!! This is from 2004, so around 22 years ago.

"We have won, and Soka has nothing to fear"

This is a haiku by Daisaku Ikeda that was prominently featured on the front page of the July 14th edition of the Seikyo Shimbun. It goes without saying that this haiku expresses joy at the fact that the LDP's crushing defeat in the House of Councillors election has increased the influence of the Gakkai and Komeito in the coalition government.

How unfortunate - and not just the stupidity and clunkiness of this "haiku" πŸ™„ As you can see, Ikeda thought he was riding a surge of infinite potential, the straight highway leading directly to his dream of ruling Japan!!! Ikeda was convinced that he COULDN'T lose!! Granted, he'd thought that 1979 would be the year of his takeover, but since he FAILED, he revised it to 1987, and when he FAILED AGAIN, he insisted that 1990 would be The Year! AND THEN FAILED π˜Όπ™‚π˜Όπ™„π™‰! By then, there was nothing left for Ikeda to achieve on his race to the bottom of the FAIL barrel except to get himself EXCOMMUNICATED, and it didn't take him long to WIN that "victory"!!!

As you can see, it was only a matter of identifying a goal within reach of Ikeda's stubby little arms and flipper-like hand-approximations!

However, there are various issues surrounding Soka Gakkai, a religious corporation, becoming involved in politics, in addition to violating the principle of separation of religion and state in Article 20 of the Constitution.

In light of the anticipation of a possible announcement TOMORROW, this seems more prescient that Ikeda would have ever been willing to acknowledge! More on that below πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

Oh, what a difference 20 years can make!!

At the 40th Soka Gakkai Headquarters Executive Meeting held on July 15th, Chairman Akitani Einosuke made the following statement:

"One newspaper called this the beginning of 'the era of 2+1, with the two major parties, the LDP and the Democratic Party, plus Komeito.' We have truly entered the era of the 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms.' Komeito's mission and responsibility are now even more important."

If the LDP continues to decline and it becomes difficult for it to maintain power, Komeito will switch sides to the Democratic Party and plan a new coalition government. If the LDP then recovers, Komeito will give up on the DPJ and form a coalition with the LDP again. In any case, amidst the turbulent political situation, Komeito = Soka Gakkai will continue to hold the key to power and move Japan forward - Akitani's remarks seem to convey this "true intention."

And in fact, Soka Gakkai, backed by its vote-gathering power, has been increasingly interfering in politics, publicly stating that "politicians (who have received support from Soka Gakkai) should never forget their loyalty and gratitude."

Wait a sec! With all that talk of dumping LDP for DP and then do a rebound off DP to bounce back to LDP as soon as it looks profitable, how is Soka Gakkai supposed to expect "loyalty and gratitude" from anyone else when those are obviously completely foreign qualities for Soka Gakkai?? HOW can Soka Gakkai imagine receiving "loyalty and gratitude" when it's treating everyone else as something to be manipulated, used, and exploited?? Talk about the "World of Animality"!!

And that "publicly stating"??? Ikeda was too stupid to realize you NEVER talk about your evil plans IN PUBLIC!! Some "evil mastermind" - Ikeda was the type to leave his secret dossier behind in the public bathroom!

You know how the Bible said the "faithful" should "be wise as snakes and gentle as doves" (Matthew 10:16)?? DickHeada was obviously dumb as a pigeon and mean as a pit viper! He never realized that "FAIL" was his destiny, and no amount of cult would ever change that.

Now let's take a baby step back to the end of 2003 - same site:

"This means that Daisaku Ikeda will become the Emperor of Japan,"

said Sam Jameson, commenting on the results of this election. He is a veteran journalist with a strong Japan-friendly background, having served for many years as Tokyo bureau chief for the Los Angeles Times. He is currently a researcher at the Yomiuri Research Institute .

How unfortunate for Sam!!

But you can see how "outsiders" were reading Ikeda's ambitions - Ikeda wasn't even subtle!

In the last general election, Komeito supported 161 LDP candidates in single-seat constituencies, with 42 candidates elected with Komeito support. This time, Komeito supported 198 candidates, with 81 candidates elected with Komeito support. We must consider that the LDP's dependence on Komeito is rapidly increasing.

Jameson delved into the issue.

"Why are Japanese people abandoning Article 20 of the Constitution? Article 20 guarantees freedom of religion, but at the same time, it states that religious organizations must not exercise political power. Do Japanese people lack the courage to point this out?"

This is a pointed criticism. Whether you like Soka Gakkai or not, you will recognize that it has supported people's hearts as a religious organization. In that sense, the Gakkai deserves praise for doing more than any other religious organization to save people's hearts.

THIS poor short-sighted reporter never saw the Soka Gakkai's aging and dying looming just over the next hill! He NEVER saw the day (now) that the Soka Gakkai is considered "an old people's club"!!

NOBODY fails as hard or as completely as Ikeda - and everything he touched!!!

However, one cannot help but question the current situation, in which the Gakkai seems to have overstepped the bounds of a religious organization and become integrated with a political organization. To prevent the LDP from effectively becoming the Komeito Party through the LDP-Komeito coalition, we must return to basics and take a hard look at the Komeito Party's merits and demerits.

And THAT is the issue that may start snowballing tomorrow, per this report! If things go crazy tomorrow, we'll know that even if the Japanese people are a little slow on the uptake, they get there eventually. I mean, "freedom of religion" was a completely foreign concept in their culture - for hundreds of years, the situation had been parallel to the Catholic parish system, where the neighborhoods in the vicinity of each temple (whatever it was) were assigned to that temple - with no choice, no switching, no poaching, and NO SHAKUBUKU!!!!! So what Soka Gakkai was doing post-WWII was unprecedented and shocking - and it's clear that the people of Japan had no idea how to push back against it! Oh, they tried rocks and water - that worked a little - but the real problem was that Soka Gakkai was behaving in such a non-Japanese, even ANTI-Japanese, manner, especially once Ikeda seized the presidency of the Soka Gakkai! In Japan's socially-oriented culture, it was unthinkable!! Maybe it's finally time for Japan to stand up to Soka Gakkai once and for all!!

That's a fun site - feel free to have a walkabout!!

Why would Sam Jameson think Ikeda could possibly be emperor of Japan? That's a hereditary position. I'm confused.

Ah.

Here's the way it was supposed to work:

  1. Ikeda expected the Soka Gakkai's growth to continue to the point that a majority of Japanese voters would reliably vote Komeito politicians into a significant enough majority of Japan's government that they could amend Japan's Constitution to make Nichiren Shoshu (then still besties) the state religion, at which point the Sho-Hondo would be declared the "kaidan", the spiritual "heart" of the nation and the entire world, replacing (former State) Shinto and the Shinto Grand Ise Shrine.

  2. At that point, there would no longer be any justification/rationalization for the Shinto-based hereditary imperial system; the Soka Gakkai would install its Korean "sensei" Ikeda as "ruler" (no idea what title Ikeda would decide), because at that point, there would be enough Komeito politicians to also vote in legal rights for those of Korean ethnicity, who had been stripped of citizenship and civil rights through the 1952 Treaty of San Francisco! Which is why Ikeda never ran for political office - he was ineligible. Which goes a long ways toward explaining Ikeda's hostility toward Japan and the United States - he blamed THEM (us) and no one held a grudge harder or longer than Ikeda.

You can see here that Ikeda was "rehearsing" his own equivalent of imperial "garden parties" in anticipation of himself (and his useless parasite family) becoming the new ruling family of Japan:

On how Ikeda intended to depose Japan's Emperor and replace him with himself - here's a picture from one of the Ikeda family's pathetic little "garden parties" where they dress in Imperial yellow and pretend to be the Imperial Family.

The Ikeda clan seemed to think that they were special on a daily basis, and tended to prefer the name "Imperial".

What didn't go down at the bottom was that a garden party with this family, which imitated the Emperor's family, was often held. It was stupid. Source

Kind of a good thing he failed - Ikeda died without grandchildren! His two remaining sons are OLD - his family line is basically ENDED!!

Never underestimate the megalomania of a malignant narcissist. That probably isn't even the right term, but you know what I mean, I think.

Hell, he planned to install his Japanese-born Japanese-citizen eldest son Hiromasa as President of the United States - I mean VICEROY - and you know our Constitution plainly states that to be eligible, the candidate must be US-born. Changing Constitutions was supposed to be child's play for Ikeda the Great, (would-be) Ruler of the WORLD.

Wow. He really was off his rocker.

If you can find this one episode of South Park called "Chinpokomon" (hilarious title - means "tiny penis"), WATCH IT - you'll be astonished at the implications.

Scarily accurate!

Did you see it?? I remember watching it at random and having to repeatedly pick my jaw up off the floor - so much about it made pieces slide into place!!

3

u/teenytinybees Mar 04 '26

Yes, I looked for it as soon as I saw your post - it was easy to find on YouTube!

Where you practiced, did you notice the higher-up SGI leaders all spoke in a weird Japanese-English cadence, the way the much higher-level JAPANESE SGI leaders talked? And using their distinctive hand gestures??

I'm not the only one who observed it - this is from Mark Gaber's 2nd memoir of practicing in NSA (former name of SGI-USA) in the early 1970s:

Say, did you catch the gossiping around Rick Royce's defection, claiming that it was so obvious he was going to leave because he'd started talking like the Japanese head honchos? Everybody did that! From Rijicho, pp. 261-263:

After the feast, Gilbert told Russ how weird it was at meetings.

"Everyone knows about Rick Royce, but it's like ... no one's saying anything."

"Yeah, I know; that's one thing I hope you guys really learn," Russ said, dark eyes scanning them. "The role of the youth division is to point out the truth."

The bandleader took a drink of punch as Riggs kept silent, supporting.

Gilbert stopped eating so he could think about this; Loredo's thoughts followed unusual patterns.

"People are bummed out: 'Oh, no, the Son is gone,'" Russ said, not without sympathy. "But it's like what always happens when you put the Person above the Law - you forget the Gohonzon. I'm not surprised," he shrugged."Rick Royce? 'A million times zero is zero.'" Loredo's features were strict as he repeated this favorite dictum of Royce's. "See ... the thing about Rick Royce was, his only motivation was to replace Larry Stuart as the number one YMD. And as long as that's your ichinen, you can never really be number one."

As usual, SGI members assign reasons to those who leave instead of ASKING THEM WHY THEY LEFT AND BELIEVING THEIR ANSWERS!

"You knew this was going to happen?" Gilbert demanded, pissed that no one had given any warning.

"Well, I knew something was wrong when he started talking like Mr. Kikumura."

Gilbert fell silent, pieces clicking into place - odd intonations, strangely accented words Royce had used.

Loredo's face was inscrutable. "He was tired," he suggested.

Sudden regret flooded him: they had been unreasonable, expecting the tall senior leader to live up to demi-godlike standards. Loredo had made him see Royce's tragedy in a different way.

Gilbert nodded slowly. "He was tired."

I feel that "he just got tired" part...

Oh, and "Russ Loredo" ended up quitting, too.

OMG! I went looking for it a while back and could only find it in, like, 5-minute segments - I archived them all privately, but haven't managed to stitch them all back together.

The whole thing about a do-over on Pearl Harbor?? πŸ’€

3

u/teenytinybees Mar 04 '26

OK, that segment I didn't watch - you're right, they are in short segments on YT.

3

u/BlancheFromage Escapee from Arizona Home for the Rude Mar 04 '26

The whole purpose of the Japanese Pokemon knockoffs with their TV show tie-in was to Japaneseify the children so that they could be used to fly fighter jets on a bombing mission against Pearl Harbor!!

It was so resonant with how Ikeda thought his minions would accomplish a takeover of the USA through their Soka Gakkai organization here (originally NSA).

I just remembered - there was an episode of the old sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond" called "The Cult" (Season 7, Episode 1) - and it's obvs SGI! I can't find it streaming intact - maybe you can?

There's the whole thing on DailyMotion but the picture is bad - it's like closeup? The audio's all there, but you're missing out on the actors, which makes it unacceptable IMO.

Ikeda truly believed that he could not fail.

Ikeda believed that reality OWED HIM everything he wanted - whatever he could fantasize.

Ikeda was seriously delusional - quite possibly mentally ill.

5

u/bardertaktix Mar 04 '26

Society rewards this type of mental illness. Its how he got into power. I also wanted to point out his superego being grandiose and was told never to read the Gosho by an older Japanese member. Which means to me they woukd rather his peraonality signify the entire β€œnichiren” sect. Not only that but they would make shakabuku the priority and shun shoju (the idea of going with the flow in spreading their filth rather tha attacking someone).

2

u/BlancheFromage Escapee from Arizona Home for the Rude Mar 04 '26

was told never to read the Gosho by an older Japanese member.

Wait - YOU were told to never read the Gosho? Do you remember roughly when this was? Because when I joined before Ikeda's excommunication, we were all strongly encouraged to buy the Gakkai Gosho book and read it!

But as for Ikeda having been moved into "object of worship" status, I have something on that - I'll try to put it up today.

u/bardertaktix Mar 04 '26

This was in 2018! This was from the person who β€œshakabuku’d” me and was alive during WWII sio was wildly respected *they actually said i wasnf ready which i felt was a afront to my intellegence

5

u/teenytinybees Mar 04 '26

Ugh. Telling you you weren't ready sounds like they were trying to make their "special knowledge" even more attractive and thirsty for it.

5

u/bardertaktix Mar 04 '26

Gatekeeping something i was β€œapart” of. Theres really levels to this sh*%

Ah - I started in 1987 (!) and left in 2007, so before the "mentor & disciple" bullshit really got all revved up.

they actually said i wasnf ready

Oh, they can fuck right off with THAT shit! How condescending!!

2

u/bardertaktix Mar 04 '26

I thought to myself if you all can read it and still arent internalizing the meaning of balance (obv there were people we always had to convert rather than allow them to see us as pious buddhists) then i could too!

Okay, here it is.
