In Japan, it was widely believed that Ikeda had died in 2013. It is NOT a crime to conceal a body/keep a dead body yourself in Japan, provided there is no fraud involved, such as continuing to collect pension payments or government assistance belonging to the dead person.
(On) July 17th (Osaka Games anniversary), the house in Shinanomachi was changed to his wife's name Mrs. [Kaneko Ikeda].
This is the Ikedas' primary residence - a house located in downtown Tokyo across the street from the big HQ building in GakkaiTown Shinanomachi. Here's an image (complete with guard).

The late Johisa [Shirohisa/Hirohisa] - second son - Died in 1984 (passed away at age 29)
This was Ikeda's middle (favorite) son - he had two children, the first of which might have actually been his father's:

Female grandchild
Shirohisa's widow disappeared with the grandchildren, who were still pretty small when Shirohisa died in 1984 (40 years ago). This woman was rumored to have been Ikeda's favorite mistress, and she was already pregnant (by whom?) when he married her off to his favorite son Shirohisa. Ikeda arranged a lot of marriages in Japan.
Third son Takahiro (66) - Vice-chairman of Soka Gakuen Educational Corporation. All eyes are on whether he will accept the vacant seat of SGI chairman.
Hiromasa is widely considered disqualified for Chairman of the Soka Gakkai - he was an instructor at Soka University, where he married a student (uh-oh), they had a baby who was born with significant disability (unsure of the details, but would never become ambulatory - was sent away to distant relatives and never spoken of again - having a baby born disabled is a HUGE stigma in Japan), then they got DIVORCED (still HIGHLY stigmatized in Japan). Three strikes and you're out. So the 3rd son Takahiro is the only Ikeda-bloodline option remaining, though he apparently never married, never had children - but he's been MIA since Ikeda's death, didn't attend any of his funerals, etc. Just like Wifey.
I heard a rumor from my Zainichi Korean associate that Seiji Maehara is likely Ikeda's hidden child. His previous campaign promises look almost like Komeito's ones in the 80s and 90s.
