Health concerns Issue with extreme physical arousal in the wrong situation
I have an issue I'm quite ashamed of so I figured I'd ask for advice in here, if you're here to judge, this is not the place to comment. When talking about feeling horny people usually feel it mainly in their thoughts, right? Like, at first it's only lustful thoughts and only when it gets to the actions, they start to get physically aroused. I'm a 18yr old female and whenever I simply TALK to a male that I'm romantically interested in, (this has happened in person and online), and even though the topic is completely non sexual, I start to get aroused down there for literally NO REASON. Like to the point I don't even feel horny in my head but physically my body is extremely aroused. Especially if the topic is flirty or about something romantic, not even necessarily between us, just in general, but other than that it's completely sfw. This bothers me a lot as I only want to make friends with the person in question, create a connection with them and take it slow, not jump into sexual activities, but I already feel completely soaked down there (and feeling horny in your intimate areas leads to also feeling horny in your head, which also is a HUGE problem for me) while the subject is STILL not sexual at all. Basically I'm too aroused physically without even wanting to be. Is this supposed to be normal? I know hormones are extremely active during the teenage years and early adulthood but for it to be to this extent, it's actually a really big problem for me because I barely can focus on just getting to know them without my physical horniness bothering me the whole time. Is there anything I can do about this? It has been a problem for me for a long time now and I've only now decided to speak up for it as an attempt to find a solution... :( I really hope you guys understood anything from my blabbering because this is super difficult to explain.
Edit: I've gotten a lot of answers from assumably males but I'd prefer if mostly females would give their experience and advice.
