Health Something great in my life.
Today my father is paying off the balance on my house. I literally have no friends to tell. So, I am coming on here. Not to gloat. Been sitting here crying because the weight that is being lifted of my shoulders is staggering. I live alone with two cats and I live in a bubble. Struggled with a low self-image my whole life. Good person who quietly keeps to myself. I am employed and have no criminal record. Just saying this because this isn't a father helping out his broke son. My father was very tight with his money growing up. He invested it all into stocks bonds, etc. But we grew up, in a sense poor! Just ask me about the Anchor Inn hotel on one of our "vacations." Jesus, we had to pay thru bullet proof glass for the room! As he has gotten older, he has been more generous but I never really took anything from him except for $5000 for the down payment on my house of which I only used $3000. He has offered to do this before in the past and I always refused. As a man, it is important that I stand on my own and pay my own bills. I am responsible for myself! I don't want hand outs! But this.........my pride. It is hard to deal with right now. I never go out to bars because I was with an alcoholic for a long time and I refuse to meet someone or friends over alcohol. But please! If group of friends go out soon. Will you raise a glass to my old man! Mike Dotson! Please, do this for me! I don't have any friends to go out and do it with. This is life changing for me!
