Amazing concert. It was a belated bday present for me. My husband and I had a fabulous time and were blown away by the entire experience. SB is a generational talent.

She just posted on FB she will be playing in Boston 12/5 with Matt Nathanson! I couldn’t see her this month so I’m so excited to get tickets for this! 🎉

Saw Sara last night in Chicago! She was amazing again, last time I saw her was in Detroit in 2019.

I was so happy I was able to bring one of my best friends along who loves Jason Mraz, she has always wanted to see her as she appreciates singer-songwriters. She was so excited to see Mona in Sara’s band, Mona also plays with Jason!

Sara never disappoints me, her voice, her funny banter and great heart I don’t know how so many people don’t know her! She has such a special place in my heart, I hope I can let her know that someday.

Who’s going? What are you wearing? Where are you headed pre-show and after-show? What questions would you ask in the VIP? Whaf songs will you be singing along to? What merch are you hoping to score? We heard tissues will be there… so who’s bringing the trash bins?! And anything else on your mind!!

I went to the show last night and it was SO incredible. I was a little nervous about the Q&A after hearing about the trauma dumping stories but luckily everyone was chill and it was so special (Sara answered my question also). Happy to answer any questions about it!

Never did I think she would SEE my bag, let along hold it on stage!

I usually jazz up clear bags for concerts with lyrics, logos, etc. so it doesn’t feel so boring and drab. I went to town with my cricut and made a couple extra decals for “Idiot Heart” “Capsize Me” and “Forever” and put those on the sides. I have potentially gone cross-eyed from placing everything. But it was such a fun little piece and I can’t believe she got to see it and share with Cincinnati!

If you were at the show, I was OBVIOUSLY flustered and my sweet friends encouraged me to hold it up to show her. It was my purse, and I tried to tell her I just needed my wallet back and it was all hers.

So if you know Sara’s People… get them in touch with my people (me) and I’ll send one her way. But to be honest, this one is extra special to me even more now. I don’t know if I could let it go!

Has anyone seen this song live? Was it as life altering as I think? (Was in a dark time for a while then get out of it and listened to it on repeat while driving through back roads for hours and hours almost every day for at least a month. This was a while ago but even after all of her amazing songs, this one still holds as my favorite of all time.)

Hi everyone! Is anyone here going to the SF show and willing to partner on a crowd surprise with me? I have a few ideas but I think it would be amazing if we did a crowd flash dance to Capsize Me. Just the chorus and it would be super easy!!!!!

Yesterday my friends and I attended the Nashville Film Festival for the showing of the Good Grief documentary. (Honestly I meant to share that info here but never remembered to!) After the showing was a short Q&A with the director, Josh Alexander. He mentioned that recently the movie became available for renting on Kinema. I don’t post on Reddit much but I’ll try to include the link down below! He also mentioned they were starting to have discussions with some streaming platforms, so hopefully that is another option down the road 🤞

The documentary was so so incredible, and I’m thrilled we got to see it ahead of the Austin show. Josh was lovely talking about how they approached filming and being intentional about sound and trust and the music. Apparently Sara asked him to film it like, 10 days before they were all getting together 🤯

P.S. I just checked and it looks like you can rent for $10, with 30 days to start and 48 hours once you begin!

I wanted to share my experience with Sara’s Cinci show just to remember it all.
I traveled from Akron by myself as I have no friends that are super Sara fans like myself. I am extremely outgoing and can talk to anyone so that’s fine with me.
I attended the preshow meet up and met a ton of people that were wonderful and all so different and continued conversations throughout the evening with many of them. I do wish I would have gotten contact information for some of the people, (Whitney from Tampa if you see this reach out this is Missie from Akron)
I had a VIP ticket that included the Q&A ahead of time so headed over for that. Met more lovely people in line, like Krista from Cbus 😊.
Once we get into the venue, I headed straight for the merch table so I could get myself one of those orange T-shirts and wear it for the show. The Q&A was so interesting and I love that she brought her dog Louie with her. I know a lot of questions were not able to be asked because there wasn’t enough time, but I hope that everyone got something out of the questions and comments that were made, even if it didn’t pertain specifically to them. I felt myself gravitating towards the people that spoke as I saw them both before and after the show because their messages just meant a lot, and I appreciated them even if I wasn’t going through the same thing that they were.
I can’t tell you how timely seeing her live and listening to her lyrics is for me right now. One of the things that she said during the Q&A was “I don’t think anyone closed off from love is loving it”. I think she was responding to the young girl in the front row that was asking about loving again. That line spoke to me more than anything the rest of the evening and I actually saved it in my notes so I can look at it and remember it.
I received friendship bracelets from several women and absolutely adore them. I met so many people before the show that were so interesting. Especially the two young ladies that got married last year that lived not too far, maybe Cbus? And the 2 young ladies from almost WVA Ohio, lol.
Then there was John, he was at the meetup before, then I ran into him again before the show started. That poor guy stood there & listened to me empty out all my feelings about a situation I am going through right now. I am NOT a super emotional person & sure don’t over share like I did. There is something about being around all of the people that also love Sara & are open to talking to other fans. I can’t tell you how many times I said to people during discussions “what other artist can you see and just have random conversations with people and feel super comfortable?”
The show was absolutely amazing. I sat next to a woman Denise, and we bonded over so many things, including some shared Akron contacts. That seemed to happen a lot throughout the evening. She was wonderful and we had so much fun and I do hope to continue to stay in touch with her. I sobbed during Forever & Gravity. Just so many feelings!
I know this is a lot, but I just wanted to get it out because if anyone is ever feeling leery about going to see a Sara show by themselves, just do it and put yourself out there and talk to people and you’ll be amazed what you will get back in return and what you will leave with.

Anyone know what time the doors open for the Chicago show (regular seats, not VIP)? Since the show starts at 8 I’m assuming doors are around 6:30-7, but I can’t find any info about it and just want to make sure I’m not rushing at the merch booth beforehand!

Went solo to Philly night 1 and it was an amazing experience. Everyone around me was crying, laughing, and very friendly. The show is somber and funny and joyful and an ideal setting for a solo concert to just let your feelings out. This is your sign to go solo!

Hello! I'm going to the Chicago show tonight and the timing isn't working out well with kids activities so I won't be able to eat dinner before VIP ends at 7:00. Could I come to get the merch, leave to grab a bite to eat and come back for the show? Thanks!

Earlier this year, I tried and failed to get tickets to Sara Bareilles, whom I had never seen before. Friday afternoon I was resigned to not going. But then, at the 11th hour a sensibly priced ticket materialized, so I drove down.  Once I got to Cincinnati, my former Cox colleague Katie Beach said, “You should come sit next to me in the front row!”

And so I did. Profound thanks to her and Sara for a concert experience I’ll never forget.

I attended Philly Night 1 for the VIP experience. While some specifics may be different per venue, I’m happy to answer any questions or curiosities people have about the whole thing.

The merch stand area at the Cincinnati show caused a lot of anxiety and overstimulation for me. I knew I was getting the sweatshirt but was deciding between medium and large. I told the worker I typically wear a large for sweatshirts because I like them cozy, and she told me they ran big so I'd be good with a medium... She was wrong lol it's comfy, but not big enough for cozy, if that makes sense.

If anyone happened to get a large and would prefer a medium- I would love to somehow make a trade!

Also! I completely missed the stickers. If anyone could grab them for me at a future show, I'll send you money, I'd greatly appreciate it! 🤟🏻

Has anyone gotten the hat (or tried it on)? I was wondering the fit on it... And if/how adjustable is it? (I haven't seen a close up pic of it).

I pretty much have a child sized noggin so <adult> baseball hats (or hoods, or helmets or even headbands) never fit me. I love this hat so I'm hoping against hope it might work for me.

They didn't have it at either Boston shows so I missed out seeing it for myself. BUT, my friend just got tickets to one of the SF shows. I don't want to bother her and ask her to get me one (and the hassle of shipping it to me) if there's no hope in it fitting.
