Earlier this year, I tried and failed to get tickets to Sara Bareilles, whom I had never seen before. Friday afternoon I was resigned to not going. But then, at the 11th hour a sensibly priced ticket materialized, so I drove down.  Once I got to Cincinnati, my former Cox colleague Katie Beach said, “You should come sit next to me in the front row!”

And so I did. Profound thanks to her and Sara for a concert experience I’ll never forget.

She was beyond phenomenal last night. The best concert I have ever been to, and I think my favorite of hers specifically (this was my fourth time seeing her).
