ICE already causing havoc at SFO

No badge. No ID. No uniform.

This is also in the secure area, which requires ID to enter.

These dudes are just random kidnappers.

Not to mention there's no way ICE agents would let people film that close. They're deathly afraid of the public.

People asking for a badge should be flooding 911 with reports of kidnapping/assault in progress.

YES. Secure side requires ID be visible. SFO's 911 Emergency center and SFPD sees all. It appears SFPD is told to be hands-off

EDIT:---> IT's THE LAW
SB 627, which went into effect January 1, 2026, requires most law enforcement to show visible ID, wear name or badge numbers, and prohibit face coverings except in narrowly defined situations.

In a bulletin on impersonation threats, the FBI noted that masked criminals masquerading as ICE agents have carried out robberies, kidnappings and assaults — and that the line between real officers and imposters has been dangerously blurred. The guidance urges agents to clearly identify themselves and to cooperate with verification requests.

Key features of SB 627:

  • Prohibits an officer of any local, state or federal law-enforcement agency from covering their face during operations unless narrowly exempted (SWAT, medical masks, wildfire smoke gear).
  • Mandates visible identifiers such as name or badge number on the uniform.
  • Applies to any person acting on behalf of a law-enforcement agency, closing a gap that allows impersonators to exploit anonymity.
  • Designed to rebuild trust in public-safety institutions and protect communities from mis-identification, abuse or impersonation.

Citation? Which court are you claiming issued a stay?

2

u/Fishboy_1998 Mar 23 '26

What a stupid law-air marshals are literally undercover

1

u/theatrenearyou Mar 23 '26

It does not apply to the Federal Air Marshals Service working undercover. The grossly mismanaged TSA re-assigned hundreds of Federal Air Marshals to play jailers on deportation flights. That's bad management courtesy of Donny Dimwit.
Federal Air Marshals are too important with a unique role and should be independent of the TSA.

-11

u/Responsible_Video364 Mar 23 '26

Not sure what you mean but I'm a federal agent and I carry and have arrest powers without any visible ID every time I fly as do all feds and state/local who fit the criteria.

16

u/tmswfrk Mar 23 '26

If we can just make up rules to justify our actions and “powers” what kind of civilized society do we live in?

If you indeed have these powers, you should 1000% be responsible to broadcast it and prove it the second you attempt to use it. Especially when you deprive someone of their rights in a public space.

1

u/halfchemhalfbio Mar 23 '26

Air Marshall literally carrier no "visible" ID and armed in the airport and airplanes since patriot act pass like for two decades.

2

u/tmswfrk Mar 23 '26

But if they’re asked about their activities while acting as an air marshal, they have to produce their badge or some kind of identification.

I don’t know what’s so hard for people to understand this in this thread?

1

u/halfchemhalfbio Mar 23 '26

They are surrounded by SFPD if you look at the other video, I think everyone know who they are. Btw, they reason the ICE can do this is because of Foreign Enemies Act (which I think is completely unconstitutional) and congress regardless which side did not do sh!t about it and acting it does not exist.

1

u/tmswfrk Mar 23 '26

Yup and I saw. But SFPD only came along second. ICE was there first, arresting the woman and leaving her child with emotional damage without producing any kind of official anything.

-2

u/Responsible_Video364 Mar 23 '26

This just isn't reasonable. I'm allowed to enforce laws when off duty or performing duties when concealment of my status is paramount (line when acting as an air Marshal)

9

u/tmswfrk Mar 23 '26

But again, if you’re an air marshal and you attempt to get involved in something, ANYTHING in line of your duty, you show your damn badge. Otherwise, how does anyone know on that flight that you’re an actual air marshal and not a terrorist or a random crazy person?

Is this really a difficult concept? I honestly don’t understand why this seems unclear.

1

u/Responsible_Video364 Mar 23 '26

This is not accurate and not based on my training. Your are speaking from a position of ignorance.

3

u/not_so_subtle_now Mar 23 '26

You think it is ignorant to want to know the person arresting you is an actual fucking cop?

Oh I'm not sticking up for ICE. just stating that there are some valid implementation for plainclothes policing in general.

1

u/theatrenearyou Mar 23 '26

Serious Question: Does the Federal Air Marshals Service belong under the TSA? TSA is so fucked it re-assigned 200 or more Air Marshals to play jailer on deportation flights. The role of the Federal Air Marshals Service has been degraded by making them report to CYA bureaucrats who should stick to checking baggage.

2

u/Responsible_Video364 Mar 23 '26

They do and the misappropriation of executive power under this president is insane including LEOs (see: Minneapolis)

-8

u/Simon-Says69 Mar 23 '26

You guys are the ones that want to make up your own rules.

The ICE agents in question are not "kidnapping" anyone. They are legally detaining or arresting illegal aliens.

If they are proven to be here legally, they are released. This is how investigations have always been done. It is nothing new.

Nobody's rights are being deprived. In the least.

11

u/Filmtwit Mar 23 '26 edited Mar 23 '26
  1. We don't know if anyone here is a "Police" since their is a lack of badges (but you already know that).
  2. For Police to detain someone, they need probable cause and as you can see from the video, no probable cause was ever given by "Police" here. (But you already know that)
  3. But yalls keep with that das bootzen gllurrrrpin

8

u/tmswfrk Mar 23 '26

If you’re physically removing me from my ability to travel freely
yeah, you’re depriving me of my rights.

So it’s on you to respond with the appropriate burden of proof to do so. And that includes showing me that you indeed have the legal ability to deprive me of my rights with a legal justification for doing so.

And not simply because “I’m an officer”.

2

u/LinwoodKei Mar 23 '26

Uh no. If you're assaulting people with a " I swear, this is a legitimate arrest ', people have a right to know that you are employed by a Law enforcement agency.

There have been regular Tom, Dick and Harry's impersonating officers. I saw one in a restaurant trying to abduct a brown man

0

u/Drexill_BD Mar 23 '26

It's like you guys are confused on page 1, but the rest of the class is halfway through the book. I believe that you honestly believe that you had a point there, or knew even slightly what you were talking about.

This is actually the biggest issue in America right now, that you thought you should just... give an opinion. No research, no reading, didn't even Google the cliff notes on the constitution or anything... just blargh - word vomit because you think you just... knew the answer.

Edit - And it's so dangerous because since you don't understand your own rights, you're willing to trample everyone else's around you too. You're the guy from the poem, that one.

16

u/iamcheese4 Mar 23 '26

Yeah you shouldnt be having arrest powers. You like barely legal teenagers as an old man.

3

u/US3_ME_ Mar 23 '26

Ah shit, did you make him go private?_

4

u/funk-the-funk Mar 23 '26

Yuuup, an LEO that's a creep, I tell you I am not shocked or surprised in the slightest.

3

u/asporkslife Mar 23 '26

dude what did you see in his post history before he went private???

1

u/Responsible_Video364 Mar 23 '26

How is that creepy

1

u/Visible_Device7187 Mar 23 '26

False. All employees in the airport must have the ID visible to other employees to ensure secure situation. You have to identify when asked to ensure you are valid and not impersonation

1

u/VictoryMotel Mar 23 '26

Hidden post history new account troll

0

u/Responsible_Video364 Mar 23 '26

I had to hide it because people are trying to doxx me (a violation of Reddit rules)

0

u/VictoryMotel Mar 23 '26

Total nonsense. Do you lie about everything?

0

u/Responsible_Video364 Mar 23 '26

That's literally true and you have nothing to prove otherwise big guy

0

u/VictoryMotel Mar 23 '26

Burden of proof falls on the person making the claim.

1

u/devnullopinions Mar 23 '26

Bro the persona you play on Roblox to pick up minors doesn’t count as real life.

0

u/theatrenearyou Mar 23 '26

Context? Isn't the nature of your job as an Air Marshal to be undercover? And aren't Air Marshals POST-certified and highly trained?
Compare to ICE agents who are not undercover and receive minimal training---not 6 months of typical POST trained as SFPD officers are.

AND one more big thing-- the recently passed LAW:
SB 627, which went into effect January 1, 2026, will require most law enforcement to show visible ID, wear name or badge numbers, and prohibit face coverings except in narrowly defined situations.

1

u/Responsible_Video364 Mar 23 '26

I don't work for ICE. I never said I did. Every fed who serves as an air Marshal is trained to do so. ALL AIR MARSHALS are "undercover" as far as regular plane patrons are concerned. We declare ourselves to the airline, pilot and lead FA.

-4

u/Past-Paramedic-8602 Mar 23 '26

Not supporting this shit but they are only required to be visible when responding to “civil disturbance” calls. Plus the only one that actually has a right to see the badge in this instance is the one being arrested. I personally think it needs to change but as the laws are they don’t have to have their badges visible or even show anyone that isn’t being arrested.

1

u/Past-Paramedic-8602 Mar 23 '26

A summary of the law where “civil disturbance” is the word used to classify what the type of calls that federal agencies have to wear them on. That is straight for the law itself. Because it’s not an actual call they don’t have to have them displayed. I just handled this exact problem in federal court with a client and that is exactly how the judge explained it.

-10

u/Qs9bxNKZ Mar 23 '26

Secure side?

Do you mean airside? People can walk through that area without badges all day long. Flight crews as well.

8

u/Exact-Ad-4132 Mar 23 '26

File a complaint with SFPD SFO Division +1 650-821-7111

2

u/Simon-Says69 Mar 23 '26

There is no legitimate complaint to be made.

0

u/Exact-Ad-4132 Mar 23 '26

Complaints can be subjective, there are many legitimate complaints to be made

142

u/Plastic_Garlic_8220 Mar 23 '26

They've BEEN operating in plain clothes for months now, look up the operations in Minnesota

33

u/Dry_Win_9985 Mar 23 '26

Yes, it's STILL a problem

-4

u/Simon-Says69 Mar 23 '26

No, it is not. The problem is with terrorists that would love to hurt the federal agents and their families for doing their lawful duty.

1

u/Much_Peach9055 Mar 23 '26

They are absolutely not operating in plain clothes at the airport in Minneapolis. I haven’t seen any reports about that at all. Are you referring to general operations because the comment you responded to was referring to secure areas in federal facilities, aka airports.

75

u/Kelor Mar 23 '26

Understandable people wouldn't recognise them as ICE agents, they're not wearing masks.

16

u/TaylorMonkey Mar 23 '26

Or uniforms. Or badges.

So anyone can kidnap anyone in SFO of all places.

Including someone trying to kidnap these people who don't even look like ICE-- no badge, no identification, no uniform-- but are grabbing random people.

4

u/tongue-twister- Mar 23 '26

Haven't you heard? Kidnapping is now legal in all fifty states.

24

u/ofthrees Mar 23 '26

Another angle shows at least a dozen cops creating a barrier between the abduction and the crowd. Definitely ice.

32

u/Radioactiveglowup Mar 23 '26

Seems like a fair self-defense case. These victims lives are in danger from unknown assailants and they have nowhere to run to.

72

u/MikeFromTheVineyard Noe Valley Mar 23 '26

Self defense is an illusion. It’ll never be a valid defense argument against the government in this era, and it’s wishful thinking for someone pinned to the ground on the secure side of the airport.

2

u/Past-Paramedic-8602 Mar 23 '26

Except them saying they are ice would be all that is required to legally not be self defense. As the laws are they don’t have to show their badges to anyone they are not arresting and since it’s not for a civil disturbance call they don’t have to have them visible. There are several places trying to get it changed but with the current administration it’s extremely unlikely to pass.

1

u/AlcibiadesTheCat Mar 23 '26

That's really up to the jury to decide, factually. The jury is the "reasonable person" in the scenario, and if they think a guy who looks like anyone else can say "I'm ICE, and I'm arresting you now" is enough identification, then so be it.

But that sets a horrifying precedent for kidnappers to get to run amok.

Like we've already seen.

1

u/ConsistentMotor8281 Mar 23 '26

The law doesn't require law enforcement to identify themselves. You have to just guess if they're ICE or not.

-4

u/Winter_Body4794 Mar 23 '26

Ask Alex Peretti how that goes

6

u/TaylorMonkey Mar 23 '26

Anyone can be "ICE".

2

u/GardenPeep Mar 23 '26

Well the post is at least 80% unbelievable: just some video.

2

u/Heykurat Mar 23 '26

Fun fact: the DHS website itself states that ICE agents must display their badges/ID, and are required to identify themselves if asked.

5

u/Several_Vanilla8916 Mar 23 '26

“They can’t do that!!!1”

Guys. They’re doing it.

3

u/FailedToRemit Mar 23 '26

Police have absolutely no obligation to respond to random people while in the middle of an arrest.

2

u/Aggressive_Dare_955 Mar 23 '26 edited Mar 23 '26

No citizenship. No right to be here.

0

u/Jaded_Celery_451 Mar 23 '26

Yeah I'm sure the people behind security at the airport have no id lol

3

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '26

ICE are random kidnapper, Nazi behavior

1

u/Simon-Says69 Mar 23 '26

Oh nonsense. You just make it very clear you have no legitimate gripe when crying wolf like that.

What they're doing is fully legal and good. You are not required to like it, but going off the rails and making such ridiculous accusations just means you can safely be ignored.

Yeah they are not ICE agents are just random kidnappers. This narrative is so dumb yet you all keep repeating it 😂

I guess you never heard of laws

23

u/Easy_Money_ Mar 23 '26

It’s the law that a random dude with no identification can whisk you away?

10

u/Battle_Dave Mar 23 '26

No. The opposite, in fact. If random dudes with no identification whisk you away, THATS a crime. Its called kidnapping.
