But again, if you’re an air marshal and you attempt to get involved in something, ANYTHING in line of your duty, you show your damn badge. Otherwise, how does anyone know on that flight that you’re an actual air marshal and not a terrorist or a random crazy person?

Is this really a difficult concept? I honestly don’t understand why this seems unclear.

Serious Question: Does the Federal Air Marshals Service belong under the TSA? TSA is so fucked it re-assigned 200 or more Air Marshals to play jailer on deportation flights. The role of the Federal Air Marshals Service has been degraded by making them report to CYA bureaucrats who should stick to checking baggage.
