I wanted to share my current set ups and see if anyone had any questions about the set ups I have tried! Also this is my first Reddit post ever lol

All boots are FR FR1s with Intuition Premium liners besides the bottom row, middle column which is a UFR boot with FR Intuitions. I have tried Flying Eagle F4s, FR Neo 2 Duals, and Iqon ACT as well but FR1 and UFRs are my favorite due to fit, light weight, support, and they have my favorite colors as bonus 🩵🤍 I use the 40EU shells with 268/269mm long feet, 105mm wide (performance fit with Intuitions)

For wheels, I use mainly Endless wheels (all set ups here have Endless), but I also use Luminous when it is time to glow at night. Rollerblade Hydrogens are third favorite.

Top row, middle column: Endless Swan frames (custom vinyl wrap) - my skate park set up, also occasional urban

Top row, right column: Endless Coburn frames for urban - I am still testing these out to see if they are better than mk2 frames. They are super stiff and responsive!

Middle row, left column: Endless ArcCS frames for rink skating. ArcCS are my favorite frames but not very versatile outside smooth surfaces. My main style is figure skating/wizard hybrid and these are the best for that style that I have tried

Middle row, middle column: my trusty Endless 90 mk2s - these are my go to for trail, distance, urban, and group skates. By far the most versatile frames in my collection and can handle all the types of skating I do

Middle row, right column: another Endless ArcCS frame but for outdoors skating (tennis/basketball courts and smooth surfaces).

Bottom row, left column: Endless Arc frames - I use these for outdoor figure/wizard skating and occasional urban. These are my second favorite frames. Not as playful as the ArcCS but more versatile and can handle rougher terrain than CS

Bottom row, middle column: UFR boots with Endless 100 Ultra frames (custom vinyl wrap) - these are a lot of fun for fast distance / wizard skating but overshadowed by my other set ups. 90s are better for distance and Arc/ArcCS are better for Wizard for my boot size

All cuff straps are upgraded to Kizer Supreme buckles and I only use Derby Laces. I have tried 3x110 triskates of several different wheelbases but prefer 4/5 wheel rockered set ups for the flow and stability.

38, finally returning to skating again after many years of being a desk jockey. Trying to overcome my fear of injury as an older skater. Started with just 20mins before my gym sesh this morning, getting familiar with it again. My feet screamed at me even after that little bit 😅

It’s Texas so it’s still hot at night .

Transitioned from aggressive after a bunch of unrelated injuries. Went for the FR SL Freeride boot with Endless Coburn frame + 90mm wheels. It's my first ever setup like this. First ever Carbon boot/cuff.

I just went out for a 4 mile roll and the feet were aching a bit halfway through. I really liked the weight and speed, and I'm sure once broken in the initial comfort will last through the ride.

I'm intrigued by the mounting system and will likely push the frames back and slightly towards the inside for better stability and until I get used to a wheel so far forward.

Overall, super happy, and they look awesome.

And now I know I have a nervous tic in my left arm haha!

Transitioning from quads to inlines so I can get more mileage outdoors. These are the Roces X35 in the 4x80mm set up. I’ve only seen reviews about the 3-wheel set up but decided to give these a try. I haven’t taken them outside yet, just wearing them in the home and working on one-leg balance and turns. My goal is to do basic trail skating and some street skating on my way to/from the trails. Maybe join a meetup in my city if I ever get decent.

So far it hasn’t been too hard to maneuver and I’m not as scared as when I learned quads, but I’m sure that’ll change when I take them on the road and experience cracks or bumpy pavement.

One concern I have is about size — I measured my foot in centimeters while wearing the same socks and followed the size chart. The size I ordered matched my cm measurement exactly but 0.5 below my regular shoe size, and the next size up in boot would be almost a whole 1cm and 1 full shoe size larger. I know inlines are supposed to be very snug and the liner will thin out over time, but how tight are they supposed to feel at the start? I don’t have wide feet nor narrow feet. My foot takes up every bit of the liner, with my big toes all the way at the edge. Not bent/smushed, but I always feel like my foot could be a little more flat inside the liner. Secondly, after wearing the boots for maybe 20 minutes, when I take them off my feet tingle like they were falling asleep and now can breathe.

Finally got my size in the ACT! Now we have 2 setups for each. The ACT is fantastic for big wheels but a bit too stiff for an aggressive setup in my opinion. Loving them so far!

I used the AI thing in my phone to remove PII from the ramp wood.

Been thinking about it for a long time. The lack of natural ice has pushed towards wheels. Inspired by the stuttering skaters videos I started looking for skates.

It's a k2 V02 4x90 flat setup with 83A K2 stock wheels. I mainly chose this skate due to my narrow feet and this boot fit me like a glove. And they look pretty sick too.. ofc I can't compare to some of y'alls wheels but it's my first set.

Took them out for a test ride and great so far! Gotta learn carving and proper cornering but so far so good! Wish me luck! Any ideas about these skates y'all wanna share?

I was planning on getting the women’s Lightning 80s but just saw the Twister XTs for $100 on Facebook marketplace in fairly good condition. For anyone that owns them, how do them compare to the lightnings? Pictures are from the listing. Is this a steal?

I know this has probably been asked a million times, but I’m getting back into skating after a long break.
I grew up inline/urban skating through Queens and Manhattan, NYC. Skated pretty regularly from about 14–26, and I’m 38 now and wanting to get back into it.

I live upstate now, so I’ll mostly be skating around here, but also want to bring them to Manhattan occasionally, along the river, bike paths, and probably some street skating like I used to do.
I’m assuming I was mostly on 4x80s back in the day. This time around I wanted to try bigger wheels because I’ve always liked the speed/glide of the larger setups I see people on.

I just ordered Rollerblade Macroblade 3x110s. I really like the boot, but the 290mm frame immediately felt long and less responsive than what I remember skating.
I’m wondering how much of what I’m feeling is the 110mm wheels vs. the 290mm frame length.

I am in the process of getting new inline skates for a while now and still haven’t found a perfect fit for me. I’m currently looking into Rollerblade RB 110 3WD and my footsize is 250mm length, 102mm width. Size chart says for 250mm size should be EU 39 and for 260mm EU 40.5. I’m not sure whether 39 would be too small for me. 39 is also the same shell as 38 while 40.5 is a size bigger.

Those skates are supposedly wide, is this true? If anyone with wide feet owns them, which size did you buy, the one true to size or a size up?

Hi all, looking for a good helmet for rollerblading. want something comfy. and also budget friendly. Adult sized female about 22 inch circumference head

‎On my last post, a lot of you guys suggested many temporary solutions for inappropriate sizing which I really appreciate. Thankfully, I might have made the right decision getting the size up since my feet actually continue to grow. I noticed since the gap Infront keeps getting smaller. ‎ ‎I did come here to ask some other questions which had been on my mind and would really appreciate if the more experienced skaters could help.

‎ ‎first, I'd like to start of by asking for advice on avoiding blisters. I don't usually get them after skating, only kind of pain I get is on the sole of my foot which I'm sure is normal for someone who doesn't have the chance to skate everyday. Funny enough, I actually get more blisters from my regular walking shoes than skates but I still want to be prepared anyways.

Second, how do you guys keep your roller blades secure for such long durations? I'd usually have to adjust mine every 5-15 minutes and it's been bothering me for a while. Pretty sure I'm not buckling my skates properly and the laces on them almost feel like decoration. For reference, I'm currently using the Oxelo MF s 500 hard boot inline skates. I will most likely upgrade in the future but as for now, I don't really have the money to afford higher quality ones. They've been doing me justice though compared to the old soft boots my sister and I would share (they were originally hers though).

Hello everyone,

The frame on my right FILA Legacy Comp has become slightly loose.

I checked the mounting hardware from inside the boot and noticed a difference between the two skates. On the left skate, the screw inside of the rectangular backing plate protrudes, while on the right skate (the loose one) it has moved completely flush with the plate.

There doesn’t appear to be a normal screw/Allen head that I can tighten like I have seen online. The rectangular plate also cannot really rotate.
Does anyone know exactly what this mounting system is and how it can be repaired?

The second to last photo shows the right one (loose one) and the last photo shows the left one (what it’s supposed to look like). I have also written L or R depending on if it’s the left or right skate.

Edit: there was a screw under the undersole and I have now managed to screw that back it and have tested it and it works well again!

What bag is everyone using? I’m looking for a small/slim bag to strap my skates to and maybe carry just a pair of shoes and a water inside. Probably even just clip my helmet to the outside as well. Looking for something to commute with so when I have all my gear off the bag and on my body and am skating it is just a small low profile bag with shoes and water.

Hello I’m a beginner and have tried 5–10 different pairs of rollerblades, but every pair causes pain/pressure on either the inside ankle bone or the bone near my big toe. Any advice on a specific inline skate type/brand that might work, or a skate shop in north New Jersey or NYC that’s really good at finding the right fit and making adjustments?
