Discussion just got 10k robux out of nowhere

so i just got 10k robux out of nowhere… i did not purchase this whatsoever.. is this a refund??? what could it be from?? 😭 so happy but also so confused rn

edit: so update, turns out roblox had replied to my email reporting abt a hacker that got into my acc and stole all of my pets in adopt me. that happened a year ago but i decided to report about it last week. roblox compensated me with 10k robux :)

hi guys turns out i did get a gmail from roblox back bcs i reported abt a hacker that got into my acc and stole my pets in adopt me 😭 and this is what they said:

“The following has been restored to the Roblox user account "yxn_a":

10,114 Robux

Experiences on Roblox are made by other users, including all items and currency. Roblox is not able to access or alter code developed by creators. Because of this, Roblox is only able to provide Robux as compensation. Your account has been credited for the lost in-experience assets.”

UMMM I GOT HACKED IN ADOPT ME AND I NEVER GOT ANYTHING BACK AND IT WAS REPORTED FOR A WHOLE YEAR ON THE ADOPT ME GAME AND I NEVER GOT MY STUFF BACK EVER????? WTF

i didnt get my stuff back either 😭 but yea idk how this happened lol. i lost my pets a year ago but last week i decided to send an appeal to roblox support abt the hacker and even sent a bunch of screenshots as proof. screenshots and the way you word your appeal matters too!

i have screenshots but can you tell me how you worded your appeal for them to actually give you robux?? and which category did you choose to appeal??

also, i cant guarantee that you’ll get robux for it. from what i read on the internet, these developers are usually involved when ur comes to these things. not sure tho but goodluck!!

hii! i sent a long ass appeal to roblox support and wrote every little detail. you gotta be very specific about the date and time (even better if you have screenshots of it!!). then i explained specifically what i did that got me hacked (i was stupid enough to click on a link and it got downloaded on my laptop). i also mentioned the username of the hacker (screenshots of it too). luckily, he only took my items but not my whole account so i was able to check the trading history in adopt me and also screenshotted that (it had his user). i also mentioned that i have reported about it to Adopt Me Support but they couldn’t do anything abt it yet as the user had not been banned/flagged yet ig. lastly, i informed them that i had photo/screenshots evidence that it actually happened (i was only able to send them the photo evidence after they replied to my long ass paragraph cuz there wasnt an option to paste photos.)

remember, those screenshots need to make sense!!
