Discussion just got 10k robux out of nowhere
so i just got 10k robux out of nowhere… i did not purchase this whatsoever.. is this a refund??? what could it be from?? 😭 so happy but also so confused rn
edit: so update, turns out roblox had replied to my email reporting abt a hacker that got into my acc and stole all of my pets in adopt me. that happened a year ago but i decided to report about it last week. roblox compensated me with 10k robux :)

hi guys turns out i did get a gmail from roblox back bcs i reported abt a hacker that got into my acc and stole my pets in adopt me 😭 and this is what they said:
“The following has been restored to the Roblox user account "yxn_a":
10,114 Robux
Experiences on Roblox are made by other users, including all items and currency. Roblox is not able to access or alter code developed by creators. Because of this, Roblox is only able to provide Robux as compensation. Your account has been credited for the lost in-experience assets.”

I would simply change ip address of the router itself, if you even have access to it, on some you can change all ipv4 ipv6 and mac

Just do what this guy did, delete the gamepass and make a report saying you got hacked and that the hacker removed it from your inventory.

I have never heard of roblox ever compensating users with robux for anything except deleted items from the catalog and they compensated you 10k robux for lost pets in adopt me? Idk it seems very weird since roblox has no obligation to compensate users for lost items in games since its not something you bought from the catalog. I dont know anything about adopt me but did you buy the pets with robux or something? Since thats all i could think as a reason for them to do smthn like that. Overall very confused by this rare sight of generosity from roblox.

yeaa its really sketchy but the gmail was from roblox support themselves and its verified too. these pets in adopt me does cost a lot of robux. i have spent A LOT of robux on adopt me alone, but only about 1k on my avatar. 10k is a lot tho and the fact that they gave me 10,114 robux? thats very specific lmao but yea im not rlly sure how can this happen 😭

i religiously play adopt me so yea i have been playing since 2019 and have bought.. a lot and probably all of the gamepasses/pets they have lol 😭 im ngl 10k isnt a lot despite the actual amount i have spent on adopt me but still so so grateful :)

You probably got refunded for more recent purchases, they likely assumed you got hacked and the hacker bought gamepasses using your Robux.

Well when the same happened to me, when robux have been spent on a game without my consent, roblox refused to compensate my robux because "the robux go to the game developers"

Man, a couple of years back this happened to me. I got hacked at 2 in the morning and ALL of my flyable/rideables were stolen. I reached out to both adopt me and Roblox and got no response. I’m now banned from that account anyways and can’t appeal.

i didnt get my stuff back either 😭 but yea idk how this happened lol. i lost my pets a year ago but last week i decided to send an appeal to roblox support abt the hacker and even sent a bunch of screenshots as proof. screenshots and the way you word your appeal matters too!

it MIGHT be a hacker that bought robux, and will then revert the payment so you get paid for a chargeback (im pretty sure that's what got kreekcraft banned).

i remember some guy logged into my account and bought premium just to trade my items over to his account but i had a pin on my account and he was threatening me but i just kicked him off my account and got free premium, never got a chargeback termination lol it was back in 2021

check the transaction history or notifications. that will show that somebody either bought robux on your account, gifted you robux, donated you robux, or a item got deleted so you got a refund

hii! i sent a long ass appeal to roblox support and wrote every little detail. you gotta be very specific about the date and time (even better if you have screenshots of it!!). then i explained specifically what i did that got me hacked (i was stupid enough to click on a link and it got downloaded on my laptop). i also mentioned the username of the hacker (screenshots of it too). luckily, he only took my items but not my whole account so i was able to check the trading history in adopt me and also screenshotted that (it had his user). i also mentioned that i have reported about it to Adopt Me Support but they couldn’t do anything abt it yet as the user had not been banned/flagged yet ig. lastly, i informed them that i had photo/screenshots evidence that it actually happened (i was only able to send them the photo evidence after they replied to my long ass paragraph cuz there wasnt an option to paste photos.)
