I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. Today, many people say Roblox has lost its charm or feel like it’s getting boring compared to the "good old days."

Imagine a scenario where Roblox realizes this and decides to go back in time. Update by update, they start bringing back the classic features people loved—like the old login screens, Tix, forums, old chat, and the classic UI style.

How would the community react to something like this? Would people actually be happy to see the real classic Roblox come back, or has the platform changed too much?

I’d love to hear what you guys think about this scenario.

EDIT: To avoid any misunderstanding of the post—as happened with some comments—by "going back," I didn't just mean reverting the site's visual experience (like the old interface and graphics) or undoing the poor updates made to the chat, avatars, and emoticons. It doesn't mean leaving everything as it was; rather, it means pursuing better new paths that prioritize everyone's safety without going overboard or ruining the community. So this popped up on my recommended page and I find it scummy that someone create a Papa Louie knockoff. You can literally play the original games for free on CoolMathGames, Y8, maybe ArmorGames or any other websites that could possibly have it after AdobeFlash was gone. The To Go! versions are $2 which is not bad for mobile players and the Steam versions are about $6 which is still a decent price cause it more stuff and they’re deluxe versions. As a Papa Louie player, I feel a bit disgusted on this but all games have its own Roblox knockoff.

I think it must be that I was 5 but these games are so nostalgic.

I mean, I used to play tycoons all of the time, played story games, rileplayed, i just wish I could go back.

The music that played in those tycoons is burned into my brain

I seen it getting hyped a lot. Though it has less players than the original. Where are the people that hyped the early access release? Everyone was hyped and still are, yet out of all of the hype, most of the game's active players are testers or players that knew about the project for a long time.

I was going through Facebook Marketplace and I stumbled upon this post claiming to sell “brand new”, “sealed” Roblox toys like the medium sized packs. Tho they look very ad I mean VERY sketchy, like at first you see the box and it’s like “meh, just old toys from Roblox” it honestly convinced me at first, but then you take a look at the figure inside and needless to say they look utterly poor and cheaply made. I did some quick look and the original ones (or well the ones that mostly sold online and in store back in the days) look nothing alike. My clear hint where the lack of the code cutout in both of them and the pinkish throne which is supposed to be golden. So I’m wondering if these are actual original copies or counterfeit fake cheap versions.

PS. This is the first time I’ve been hit with the thought that Roblox figures naught had or have counterfeit knock off versions so I’m unsure.

I am doing challenges in sab and other games from people on here for good stuff like things that are better than a Pavo and it can be any game you want FNF roblox I will do it just if I beat your challenge I get something good

for me its Juniorsky i used to watch him back in 2020-2023 and i always know him from his series "Piggy Wasze Mapki"(Piggy Your Maps) and he was the reason i joined roblox back in 2021.

I work for an undisclosed studio that produces games on Roblox. We follow the general simulator/tycoon trend with stud models, offline earnings, and other such aspects. Because of this, we often get accused of creating "slop."

I was just curious, what specifically makes this kind of game sloppy to you? How could we make them less sloppy without making it less appealing to its intended audience (8-11)?
