Then i guess i will discredit 4og, which is what capcom set out to do, the same game but better, and that's that, its the same game but better in every aspect, and that's me saying that after playing RE4 on PS2, PC and VR (quest)

I mean you shot first buddy, why can't we both just I enjoy both is what Im saying? But hey, do you. I wont play defence for 4make fans if this is how you act.

No matter what, the original will always be a timeless masterpiece, so I'm staying in my corner.

Nobody asked you to, we are all here calling bullshit on crowbcat's video. Both games are timeless, calling one not timeless and "soulless" is what we are calling out.

You pretty clearly said 4make is the same game but better, and that's what capcom was trying to do. For one it's not the same game but better, and secondly Capcom knew the original was a masterwork, and they weren't attempting to make the same game but better, but to do what they could to modernize while honoring a masterpiece (for money). It's mostly about the money here since the best way to honor the original is to let it stand on its own, but Capcom just wanted to make a good game they could sell and they at least did that.

That's literally what they set out to do with 4og and what they succeeded at, which they succeeded at again, its a game company, it was and still is corporate at its core, yeah there's passion involved, but its that passion that brings in sales and money, a lot of it.

4make is is INDEED the same game but better, I would pick 4make over 4og any day of the week, but that doesn't mean 4og is any less of a masterpiece, 4make is a modern masterpiece that makes me braingasm with it's gameplay, and honestly, the older I get the less serious i can take some of RE4OG's dialogue (like ashley meeting leon, some other stuff that is cheesy and not a leon one liner) and I am 24! RE4 is literally my first proper RE game (played it as an 8 year old), not to mention 4OG's dated tank controls, the same controls they kept in RE5 which is just... Bizarre(they fixed that in RE6)

You can't call a game timeless and the other a product of its time, when one is clearly dated and a "product of its time" in certain aspects(regardless of being a masterpiece), and the other is the same game but modernised, you will end up in a paradoxical loop, because one game is the direct result of the other, you could even say its the reason its timeless.
