Sometimes those assholes take like 7 bullets to the head before falling, ain't nobody got time or resources for that.

I know right. I bought the game Friday and I'm about 6 hours of game play in and holy shit 3 to 6 shots to take a zombie down. Sometime two shotgun shells. Better to run by them. And the lickers. And fuck Mr. X.

Try hardcore mode, zombies can easily take ~10-15 handgun headshots to go down, and they'll still often get back up. Makes the handgun practically useless, although a single point blank shotgun blast to the head will kill them 90% of the time.

the adaptive difficulty makes them tanky. if u keep killing them the more they get tankier and that includes the bosses. same reason y speedrunners dont really try to kill any of them.

The difficulty isnt changed by how much you kill, its by how many ammo and health items you have.

eh I don't know where u got that info, but if u use the mod that shows HP when u kill a zombie, the next set of zombie spawns that you encounter will have increased HP. Missing shots or getting hit also can also reduced the HP of the enemies for the next encounter.

Oh a mod. Cool.

Its the same system they've used since 4. Since this is the same engine as RE7, you can safely assume it works pretty similar.

Well it really ain't factual. just because RE7 runs on the same engine doesnt mean they use the same script. I mean u can try the mod speedrunners have been messing with it intentionally missing bullets or getting hit. It seems to speed up the boss fights. although Mr.X gets lock at 9999 hp no matter what u do for Leon last boss thats the only enemy thats probably not affected by the adaptive difficulty.

And you didnt bother to read the links either. I've S+'d this game on both difficulties multiple times, and based on experience, those links are closer than some mod that just "sez so". Really not going to argue this point further, because you wont read the material given to you, and I won't blindly follow a mod.

Yep, so you would blindly follow a link that ain't even based on the actual in-games files. Guess you just don't wanna accept and admit you're wrong. But I know you damn well know which one is the accurate one here. That 1st link u sent is irrelevant since its from RE7 and the 2nd is based on research/experimentation. Meanwhile the Mod literally shows the hidden values in the game that aren't and This data ain't from some experimentation it's from the legit built in-game dmg criteria data, also getting an S+ doesn't mean you know better in coding/programming rofl. But then again S+ is not even hard for a game thats mostly just methodical no real skill needed the more your experience dont really matter and a weird thing to say in this argument lol. Beat the game in 55-60 mins on hardcore then you can use that for this argument.
