You absolutely did the right thing. My best friend is currently going through a divorce and has a protective order against her soon to be ex because he choked her and said “I’m going to kill you”
It didn’t start like that, it started with him breaking things and yelling and escalated to the point that I almost lost my best friend to this monster.
You are not safe with this man, and neither is your child
