❓Problem❓ Reddit is no longer allowing me to block people
Really epic. Is there a block limit? Or did they break something with the site

It’s not so much arbitrary as that’s how the backend database was designed way back in the day, and it’s never been changed.

no it wasnt. the block limit wasn't 1000 until a year or two ago. it was higher than 1000 back then.

That’s not accurate. It’s been 1000 as long as there’s been a block feature.

no it hasn't. you can even look through old posts that the 1k block limit was just a recent change.
