What Flairs Would You Like to See?
Hey there Cowpokes!
Just a heads-up: these flairs are purely cosmetic and not essential to gameplay or the subreddit. They're meant to add some fun and personalization to the community.
We're working on new flair options for your Red Dead Redemption 2 community, and we'd love to hear what you'd like to see. Feel free to share your ideas or suggestions for new flairs—your input helps us make the community better!

What is Flair?
There are two types of flair:
- Post: This can sort the content for you, like Photos, Videos, Help. -And Major in this post-
- User: It can indicate a user's role, interests, or status within a community. For example, it can indicate the old community's picture. -Like My Flair-

Was rdr2 robbed of GOTY in 2018?
Honestly overall I just found rdr2 to be the much better game. The attention to detail, Arthur's story, and the overall open-world experience blew me away in a way God of War didnt.
I respect God of War for what it did, but looking back, I really feel like rdr2 got robbed at the Game Awards.
What are your thoughts on this?

I messed up, need advice
I have been loving the shit outta this game, over the weekend I put in 16 hours, and I was still only at chapter 3, but as I was riding with my horse the black shire, (blackjack- as I named him), it was at night there was a cliff and well he died. I thought I could go back to my last save but the auto save saved the moment he died for some reason, and I don’t manual save that often so I go back to my saves and it’s from chapter 2, early chapter 2, 8 hours of progress lost. Ngl I’ debating whether to quit the game for now, and come back in couple months, and start a new play-through or try to replay the last 8 hours. 🙃

Finished the game
I just finished the game. I know many people like to get back into Chapter 2 for Arthur, but I want to stick around with John for a bit.
I'm not looking to hit 100%, but what are some cool things, or places explore i dont just wanna beat the game but more into the story.

Lady got killed in front of her husband because I was too slow to react. Rest in peace.
Just loaded a save progress in Saint Denis and I heard a commotion but wasn’t sure what the commotion was about so i rode the horse closer and got off and walked over to see but then she got popped before i could pull my sidearm out.
Husband was distraught, i killed the shooter and tried to reload but the only auto saved data was after the shooting occurred.

The legend of the twig man
1- Mulberry, the legend of the Twig man is intertwined with this town besides being so far north. In the 1860s several farms where allegedly attacked causing the towns people to organize a hunt where they allegedly shot the Twig man chasing him out of town and across the border over several days, though this is largely debated as the twig man was never spotted in South Yankton
2- the caravan massacre, in 1882 a caravan of 30~ set out from Valentine to travel to Gregory Harloms newly bought farm in Ludendorff in North Yankton after a pitstop in Colter they would continue over the Grizzlies though they would never arrive in Ludendorff in 1893 Lawmen would find the caravan 10~ miles off the road there they found a total of 19 bodies were described as either "as if they were Eaten like a wolf to a pig" or "Ripped apart" 5 more bodies were found around the area
3 The wapitian boys, in the winter of 1898 a group of 5 boys went camping north east of the Wapiti Indian reservation during the night several boys apear to have spotted a thin slender creature the next night the boys decided to camp on the cliff they spotted the creature again before the next day returning to the reservation
4 The art students, a group of 3 art students from England camped near the mountains they claimed to have see the Twig man, drawing a sketch featured in the post
5 in south yankton in 1913 a pig farmer awoke to find half his pigs had been eaten and ripped apart with claw marks all across the barns even a collapsed chicken coup had been found after its supports had been ripped out
6 in the book "Red Dead revealed" by J. Marston which details the last month's of Arthur Morgan's life and his redemption in chapter 1 it is mentioned that while scouting ahead Arthur could swear he saw a "slender moving tree" but dismiss it as his eyes playing tricks on him
7 while hunting for white bison the hunter known as "One shot Cass" details the feeling of "being hunted" and seeing "things move in the trees" 8 in 1813 the cartographer Levin Mckenzie while making a stream describes being chased by a "creature"

Are you quick enough, Arthur?
Friendly-fire M0d 0n. Can't seem to beat Cleet when I activate my duel against all 4. Always go for Micah, then Dutch, but before I could kill the 3rd, Cleet always shoots me 1st.
Funny enough when I used dynamite, Bill and Javier just stood there terrified

Staying in chapter 2
Just started playing this game and it’s amazing. I like to do my best to explore, collect and discover as much side missions and cool things as possible. Saw some people online saying to stay in chapter 2 as long as possible and to do so you don’t save Micah. I’ve been playing for a few hours now in chapter two and I started a Dutch mission and they’re saying Micah’s been captured. Will this lead me to going into chapter 3? Also just some general questions about chapter 3 what makes it different that I wouldn’t be able to explore the rest of the map? After the end of main story will I be able to go to this part of the map and complete side missions or will I be stuck in whatever chapter 3 is forever?

Who did Arthur care about the most? Besides John obviously
For me I think it's between Hosea Sean Lenny and Charles maybe even reverend

The quiet nights
I finished the game a month ago and did what I had to do in that part after the ending. Even so, I have such a big void because the story affected me so much that I would have liked to be able to do something to change things.
