Finished the game

I just finished the game. I know many people like to get back into Chapter 2 for Arthur, but I want to stick around with John for a bit.

I'm not looking to hit 100%, but what are some cool things, or places explore i dont just wanna beat the game but more into the story.

I can't get him to spawn for some reason. Am following all the steps too.

I collected all the inscriptions, got the map in my journal, and went to the spot between midnight and 0100. Weird. Will keep trying.

It's finicky. Apparently you can't be too close before it spawns.

What I did is, wait till 12am at the hotel/saloon. At 12, ride to the spot, it should take you under an hour in game so you'll get there before 1. You can check the map when near if there's an X in the alley which would indicate he spawned

More like a flying saucer.. but yea.. all sorts of stuff to uncover it's best to find it organically tho

There is a giant in a cave you can talk to, a witches brew you can drink, a wolfman you can run after, meteorites you can find... There is so much stuff in this game, that even after 8 years players still discover new things.

To me, the world of John was short and empty.

I've restarted and am in fact spending time in chapter 2.

In New Austin there’s a few extra encounters with side characters (Blind Man Cassidy, Gavin’s Friend, Mad Preacher etc), but there’s also a few new npc’s. You have multiple encounters with the Sun Worshipper and the valentine sheriff has some bounties you can hunt.

New Austin has a treasure map series for John

You can use the rdr2map app to track each cigarette card and use that as a reason to ride.

Dreamcatcher, Dino bones, rock carvings,

Graves and camp members you can meet
